This tarpit monster came out delightfully goopy looking. This was definitely fun paint job and I am not at all salty that my camera struggles to pick up all the details.

Overall an excellent weekend. I had a lot of fun, entirely too much sun for my pasty pale programmer sun, and a reasonable amount of fair food.

Something I see in some spaces is a “no AI in my space where I am a subject matter expert” but being okay to use it for other for spaces they are not an expert in, while not seeing the disconnect there.

I'm playing a ex-circus elf turned drunken monk that sorta lucked her way into nobility title, and is now training to be a bard since she found herself suddenly being one of the party's more responsible members. I actually have this drawing I did a few years ago when she was still early level.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard someone say we can just use AI to remove all the accessibility problems in the code base… Actually knowing how to make accessible websites is way more valuable and there is a lot about making accessible sites AI isn’t good at doing.

If I was crazy wealthy I would probably start setting up a lot of 3rd spaces for people to hang in for doing crafty things or gaming. Also my hobby budget would be out of control.

Also from an accessibility standpoint, hosting your own website means it can often be easier to make your comic accessible to more folks - a lot of those webtoon like apps … aren’t the most accessible. And aren’t great about letting you funnel your audience into a newsletter or Patreon.
