But with UFOs, the number of years doesn't necessarily translate to a better understanding of the subject, especially if you're entrenched in a belief system not supported by the evidence (spotty and circumstantial as it may be).

A very interesting thread, that is also applicable to the so-called #UFO Disclosure movement, because many of the people 'briefing' Congresspeople about this controversial topic are considered 'experts' simply because they have been involved with the topic (in a semi-official capacity) the longest.

So where does Congress get its information about complex topics? From lobbyists. Some of them--the most aggressive and well-financed--are from industry. Others are from professional groups or single-issue orgs. Some are from public interest nonprofits. And everyone rocks up with different facts. 8/

We're each responsible for our self. No one's coming to save us, & legislation can't overcompensate for lack of personal responsibility. Not from AI or gambling apps. Not from devaluing media literacy, alcoholism, eating too much bad food or anything else. Caveat emptor, past, present & future.
