i don't know how to shorten this one LMAO so here u go

as far as i've seen, something i feel is missed in the conversation of attention spans and instagram reels, tiktok, youtube shorts, whatever tf this video format is generically called - is the role purposefully obfuscating user control has in all of it.

not being able to see the runtime of a video in conjunction to it being chosen for you by an algorithm makes things feel grating faster.

not being able to pause easily, find videos you watched without 'saving' them in some way, videos repeating infinitely (grating since the videos themselves are short) once they're over, all encourages you to give your full attention as opposed to multitasking. and that again, in turn makes quick snappy videos more appealing.

i've been at the point in the page where it feels like no matter how many hours put into it, there's always many more hours that will need to be done to get it completed... but i'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

and it helps with readability too since when they're facing up, the cape is entirely grayish blue, and when they're facing down it's majority pink. ...and also that means when they're facing up it means the cape stands out less, it blends in more with their blue skin and silver armor.

i love how kris's cape in their darkworld design is colored. like okay, it's pink. then what's it shaded with? a grayish blue that's actually Lighter than it's base pink. i never would've thought of that lol. it really emphasizes the overall feel of darkworlds... that neon/darklight kinda look

not even gonna attempt to shorten this cause i'll fail

i'm not gonna do a good job explaining this. but y'know that thing where with three friends, everyone sketches something, and then you swap the sketches amongst eachother so each person lines one of the sketches you didn't do, then everyone swaps again for color. so by the end you have three finished pieces and everyone has contributed one step to each piece? that's like drugs to me i think if i had a group of friends who did that on a regular basis i'd be cured of many of my ails LMAO

Hi everyone! Do things look different? If you’ve visited this website of mine before last month and have a good memory, then they should, because everything has been rebuilt. That’s over 100 pages!
Since this update is bigger than the usual, I figured it was worth highlighting some of the changes. But first…
Something that’s been on my mind.
