Today was the first time I’ve presented my work thus far to my colleagues (most of whom are accomplished academics) and I was so nervous that my work would be sneered. But, they were FLOORED by what I did, jaws literally dropped, and most joked about wanting to steal me for their departments. 🥺

I just got prescribed my first set of low-dose t-blockers! Plan’s to do that for three months then add low-dose estrogen! Ahhhhh! It begins!!!

I ate some almonds earlier and a tiny little piece was stuck in my braces. When I finally got it free, it was just this hard little dot in my mouth…. So I swished it, licked my lips, let it get stuck on there by my spit before slurping it back in… it was heavenly… 🤤 Just like my favourite micros~

Dolly Parton and Tim Curry passing away on the same day is diabolical. They were both 80 too. We lost two queer icons. 😭 You’ve both had such powerful impacts on a marginalized community and I hope you can rest peacefully knowing that. ♥️

I think back on some of the things I’e said and done in the past and I was genuinely such a piece of shit. I know people shouldn’t let their past define who they are in the present, but in this fandom it feels inescapable. Constant reminders of the bridges I’ve burned. No wonder I’m single… 😔

I love my job! 😭 It’s the first job I’ve ever had where, on my first day, I only did “onboarding” for 2 hours then spent the rest of the day actually working on project management stuff. Beyond productive, drafted a 6-page reference document summarizing key strategies and reference material, etc.

I still can’t get over that I got a Project Management job at my local university. I’m so excited! Not only does it give me the 5 years needed for my PMP Certification, but it’s for a great initiative that will hopefully draw attention to my city. I really hope I can do a great job! 🙏

My bedroom's flooring got redone, and it sucked to be evicted for the day... but being able to start my room over, change where everything is, and have it be pristine? Wow, I didn't realize just how much I needed that. The clutter was terrible for my mental health.
