Super curious where you’re seeing growth! For example, the third post in the consistently top 3 hashtag #photography has 1k likes. That’s abysmal for a platform trying to rival social media giants. I see people moving to threads, unfortunately

Ah that’s rough. I’m feeling a general sleepiness here, a lack of critical mass. But then there’s the option of growing organically so 🤷🏻‍♂️

-A close view of one thing might convey more about the scene than the wide view of all the things.

-The scene you saw and the feeling you’re meant to capture there won’t always be the same.

-To capture something compelling, you have to approach the subject from a place of wonder and curiosity. Without those, you’re an archivist.

I’d never felt the world open up into this sort of vastness, and the feeling has stayed with me when the monotony of planned city streets threatened to narrow my view. Over the next years, I re-learned similar lessons to the ones I stumbled into that day.
