we share many of our friends—we have introduced each other to many of the people we hold dear in our lives right now. i will speak to her about it in time, but for now i wish to seethe and simmer in anger.

i am infuriated because i had a very bad experience recently with a friend, which led me to then find out she was saying lowkey hurtful shit about me, and now i want to just never speak to her again.

ive been thinking of doing a food vlog/what i eat in a day diary, where i take a picture of the one bite of food i intentionally have left over, but im worried that over-documenting my eating will only exacerbate the unhealthy food noise...

this year im trying so hard to be healthy about food. i want to feel empowered to leave one to two bites of food on my plate, instead of feeling an intense anxiety to finish every last grain of rice in front of me, only to feel guilt and shame afterwards.

cw for ed, food ive had a really disordered relationship w food for a long time, from having a frustrating food addiction and struggling with binging/overeating to be afraid of it and neurotically tracking every single thing i consume, all at the same time.

an honest question i have to answer is will i still create if there is no one to consume? it's okay if the answer is no but i want to find out

made really good progress on the website today :D hopefully will have it launched by march. idk how well my efforts to delete social media (other than peer to peer texting) will go but we will see once the site is up and kicking

frey @freysghost.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

well people can whatever the hell they want in cosplay but wigs definitely always look much better because of the volume and shape control hahah

110

frey @freysghost.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

do you think i could get away with the cosplay cardinal sin of cosplaying csm asa yoru with my actual hair?

2130

frey @freysghost.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

also they wont be worn in a cosplay setting but a full functional armour setting, with other actual HEMA armour so im worried the blackened will look a little cheesy, form over function

inspired by the pauldron mods made by fireflypath that i got to wear in December, ive added polyfil stuffing under quilted lining so my steel pieces 1) dont dig into my bones and hurt during my shoot and 2) dont get as cold as ice against bare skin in the snow 😀 look how plush!

the fragrance isn't comfortable, but it's earth bathed in unsettling moonlight. i don't think this is something i could wear every day (thankfully because this is really expensive?? for how much u get), but it's something i want to keep smelling once i do wear it. captures the movie so so well

frey @freysghost.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

a younger me (one concerned with fragrances insofar as they make me smell *good*, like how i was concerned with fashion only to the extent of making me look *beautiful*, rather than for the artistry) would not have liked this, but i really love this now.

frey @freysghost.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

every time i smell it, i'm reminded of this scent existing at some point in my past somehow, despite never smelling it before today. it's a bit naive in presentation (it smells exactly as it's described, very earnest), but its damp melancholy makes me keep wanting to smell it more

i just got my hands on heretic parfum's nosferatu eau de macabre. i've worn it for about 16h now, and i love each of the top, middle, base notes very much in different ways. the opening on it was pretty violent for me, but it settles into something darker and moodier and nostalgic somehow.
