I write some of this. Main genres being contemporary romance and romantic suspense, almost all of it small-town, I don't really write comedy, but some humor is always included, and I think I've covered most of those tropes you mention.

Is there anything better than the smell of bread baking in the oven?

Day four of the Zon holding my books hostage while they try to figure out what went wrong on their end. I'm trying to be patient, but it's not easy. Funny how I've never heard of issues like this with Kobo or even Apple Books. 🤔

Nope. They apologized and reinstated my account, but now all my books show up as blocked on my KDP bookshelf. They tell me they're working on resolving it but it could be 2-3 working days. It's hurting my wallet.

I was driving myself nuts, staring at my KDP bookshelf with 53 BLOCKED in red on all my books, waiting for them to disappear. Might as well make myself useful here.

Not sure what to expect, but here I am. Had nothing better to do, waiting for the Zon to fix the 'technical issue' they say caused my books to be blocked. Fun and games in the life of an author. #author #writingcommunity #romancelandia
