59. Lanterns (2026) Just a great like detective drama with a super hero spin. Both Hal Jordan and John Stewart were perfectly cast. I'd be cool if it got another season but I'd also be happy if this was all we got. 9/10

58. The Bat by Jo Nesbø (1997) A good whodunit that's also about the main characters struggles with mental health and alcoholism as much as it is the crimes. First in the series so I'll definitely check out more. 8/10

56. They Will Kill You (2026) This was kinda fun and gory but also I think it went on too long. Like it could have been a 20 minute short film to get the same message. 6/10

55. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (2007) Replay before 8. Currently my fav Ace Combat game. Played the fuck out of it on the 360. Love all the operations gameplay and the recurring ally npcs are all great. OST is all bangers 9/10

54. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (2019) Replay before 8 This game definitely has some plot weirdness for being in development hell for so long. But the visuals are gorgeous and the game play is to notch. Though, I do miss some features like squad commands. I would die for Count. 9/10

53. Wolverine (2026) This game had a weird hate campaign against it that I don't think is warranted. It definitely plays like an old school linear hack and slash, but also thatch pretty much exactly what I expected from a Wolverine game. Fun combat and levels and great story. Good game. 8/10

52. The Happening (2008) This is either the best movie I've ever seen or the worst. I can't tell. ट/10

51. The Sixth Sense (1999) I avoided it for years because I thought knowing the twist and ending would ruin its impact. I was wrong. Still a very good movie. But not my fav from M Night That would be Signs or The Village 8/10

50. A Short Stay In Hell by Steven L. Peck (2009) Excellent little novella. Read it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. I officially don't want to live forever or have an afterlife. Also big numbers are scary. 9/10

49. The Blood of the Dawnwalker (2026) Great RPG. Especially when we don't get a huge amount of good vampire games. A little janky at times but I liked the setting, story, and the timed mechanic is really good and actually makes you feel like you can't just ignore the main quest. 8/10

47. The Expanse Season 1 (2015-2016) Why had I not watched this before? This was so so good. Excellent characters, world building, story, and pacing. Everyone should watch. I love space. 9/10

46. Toy Story 4 (2019) I heard this one wasn't very good and wasn't expecting much but people are wrong as usual. Super good and easily the funniest movie so far in the series. 8/10

45. Halo Infinite (2021) Just played this for the first time. Much better than I was expecting. I like that Master Chief is more of a real character with a personality even if they main story isn't the best in Halo. Also the movement and gun play feels fucking great. A nice return to form! 8/10

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 27/08/2026

44. Halo 5: Guardians Not good. As some nice variety of environments but the levels and story aren't good and the combat just doesn't feel like Halo. I wanna like Locke but he's just kinda boring, even if the other new characters are pretty good. Easily the worst one. 5/10

100

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 27/08/2026

43. Halo 4 (2012) I remember getting really good at Halo 4 multiplayer but as a campaign it is not good. Annoying new enemies and lack lustre set pieces. 6/10

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 27/08/2026

42. Halo 3: ODST (2009) I really like the one has gotten way better with age. Just a completely different vibe than any of the other Halo games and I think I like it a lot more now as an adult. Also has Nathan Fillion and thats a win for me. 9/10

41. Halo Reach (2010) I used to think it was a weird way to end Bungie's run with Halo but I think I like it a little more now on replay. Definitely a more grounded one that the space opera feel of the original trilogy. 8/10

40. Moneyball (2011) I really like baseball and stats so I rewatch this movie a lot. How can you not be romantic about baseball? Also the As should stay in Oakland 8/10

38. Halo 2 (2004) Seeing clips of the terrible Halo 1 remake gave me the itch to play some old Halo. Halo 2 holds up so incredibly well. Just such a good shooter with a killer OST. Makes me feel 10 years old again. 10/10

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 04/08/2026

37. Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026) Avatar is so washed up dude. This was such a nothing movie where the character we love didn't feel like themselves, a boring mcguffin plot, dizzying fight scenes that don't get what's cool about bending, and voice actors that pale to the OG cast. 4/10

100

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 04/08/2026

36. Masters of the Universe (2026) This was very fun. Probably could have been like 20 minutes shorter, it dragged a in the middle. But super fun soundtrack, designs, and costuming. Also the guy who played He-Man was surprisingly good. 7/10

100

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 20/07/2026

35. Backrooms (2026) Some cool stuff and ideas on the go. Visually very interesting and an unorthodox structure for a horror movie. I do feel like the script and characters were a bit week and don't always line up with the themes. The ending third of the movie was way weaker than the rest. 7/10

100

Jordan @freshairequalsducks.ca · 20/07/2026

35. Obsession (2026) This more has made me more uncomfortable than any horror movie has in a longtime. Just like incredibly unnerving the entire time with great sound design and performances. Great movie. You should watch it. 9/10

34. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (2023) It's kinda crazy how they made Cyberpunk 2077 into a really good rpg finally. I had never played the DLC before but it was also very good! The new area and missions were super well done and felt like they had more depth than base game stuff. 9/10

33. The Amazing Digital Circus (2023-2026) I have never heard of this but then a bunch of people were mad about it so I had to check it out. It was pretty good! I don't understand how people couldn't like the finale. Would recommend. 8/10

30. Goon (2011) A quintessentially Canadian movie. Holds up better than I thought it would, legitimately very funny. It was a very fun movie to show friends who aren't Canadian and don't know hockey culture. 7/10
