Yeah they have really screwed up not trying to settle before this came out. Maybe they currently are negotiating prior to the deadline this Friday but I can’t see how this goes well for them the longer it drags out.

I think there is a reasonable chance that City and the rest of the league already know what the recommended sanctions against them are and they already started the appeal process. I don’t see anywhere that the judgment from the commission had to be made public prior to appeal.

He is in a very difficult position, I agree. But the PL is an absolutely massive global product that also has huge financial implications attached to it. At the same time, the UAE has done this to themselves, so they deserve the embarrassment.

I think if they weren’t going to resign him then selling was the right move, since he was the clearest weak link in the squad, but not having a direct replacement is disappointing. Happy for him though. He’s really had a great career so far and he’s earned it.

Idk if it’s a bad idea or not but I think Arsenal should consider inviting Jadon Sancho to come train with them. He’s 26 and a free agent. The last few years haven’t gone well for him but if there is still a player there, Arteta might be the one manager to get him back to what he once was.

AI is a tool and can be useful. I don’t really subscribe to all the fear mongering at the moment. As for the jobs the data center provides, yes after construction it’s relatively small and that’s disappointing. But they do generate tax revenue which is imporrant for some of these communities

I think this is correct, and they also do a bad job of explaining the pros and cons. I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the entire issue and think with renewable energy they are mostly a net positive. The major drawback is sound pollution.

Your post is inaccurate. Palace and Ipswich have both conceded 6 so far. Spurs, Villa, Chelsea have all conceded 5 (no one is talking about Chelsea either).

I’m with you on this take. I get people are upset, but we didn’t see full seasons last year or Merino, Kai, and Eze. You can add to that Saka, Odegaard, and Timber too for that matter.
