Interesting - from NY, moved to Alabama as a teen, now in KY. This pegged me as NC?

A different #wipwednesday is a #knit scarf I’m working on - it’s modified from a pattern I saw on a shawl. Yarn is fingering weight from Emma’s Yarn, Zodiac series colorway Aries with two skeins used at the same time.
A patterned scarf in a wide range of oranges is in progress.

One last #wipwednesday for the #crochet Progress. Finished and blocked, ready to go to a new home. Are there mistakes? Absolutely. I want to redo the border, the triangle is not exactly balanced and the blue stripe has…issues. But I’m happy with the end result.
A vibrant rainbow Progress flag is finally complete, with each vertical stripe showing a “❤️ IS ❤️” logo. Approximately 30” by 21 inches.

I slacked off and visited family so this #wipwednesday looks like not much #crochet was done. Border is done and the flag is being blocked before I clean up the ends.
A brightly colored Progress flag is pinned out and drying; the “❤️ is ❤️” logo in the horizontal stripes is visible against the pin board.

Another week, another #wipwednesday update. The #crochet Progress flag is almost ready to block and weave in ends. Gazzal baby cotton and 3mm hook.

Little late for the #wipwednesday. Making Progress is going slow, with a chunk frogged to correct a mistake I found many rows later. Finally finished reworking the blue stripe. Filet #crochet “❤️IS ❤️” incorporated into the horizontal stripes.
A cotton filet crochet project. LGBTQ Progress flag about 1/3 finished, with the violet and blue stripes completed.

My #crochet project this #wipwednesday is a quick shawl. Yarn is from an old cotton blend sweater I didn’t like the cuffs on, so frogged and reused. On the last step now, just needs to dry.
A dusty pink triangular shawl is pinned out for blocking and drying.

It’s #wipwednesday again. Back to the lighter weight cotton #crochet yarns while making up a new pattern. Open the photo and you might guess the end result 😀
A crocheted cotton Progress flag is started with the white, pink, blue, brown and black triangle started along with the lowest violet stripe.

Early #wipwednesday photos. Went back to filet #crochet while trying to work out a new pattern. Yarn is Loops & Threads Soft Ombré polyester/acrylic blend. Not quite half finished; pattern will be mirrored so each end is readable. Thinking of using the pattern for a rainbow banner.

This was a tough #crochet project. After a friend passed, I was given part of her yarn stash. the pale pink yarn was a snarled mess. Took a lot to untangle it, then the yarn fought me, stayed stiff and ugly through 3 froggings and 2 blockings. Finally got it cleared and soft. For Amanda.

A little late for #wipwednesday - this is a lighter weight #crochet cardigan for spring. Found a gorgeous cotton blend by Dreamscape in color Starfish, combined it with the GuChet Corin in periwinkle blue.

Another #wipwednesday is here. Think I frogged this yarn 3x before I was happy with the pattern. Yarn is a cotton-nylon blend I bought when visiting at the Chattanooga Yarn store in TN.

Time for another #crochet #wipwednesday although the penguin is pretty much finished - did him while procrastinating on seaming the poncho together. Pattern is Nisa Poncho from Toni Lipsey, using her Happy Place yarn from Hobbi

Happy #WIPWednesday #crochet this one is nearly finished, just deciding if I want to give it a collar. Yarns are Emma’s Yarns Super Silky in Jamie O and Sea Me Now. The stripes are the same color as the sleeves, just look paler due to the Tunisian stitching.
