Hm, should I abide by NRFB? I don't want people chanting it and going crazy on me! ...I hope at least one of you knows what I'm referencing. 🫠

Got this in the mail today. It's a vinyl figure of Treecko! I've been wanting this one for a while, but I could never find any at my local stores. This one came from eBay. ...Okay, I know I said I needed to stop spending, but I bought this before saying that, so it doesn't count. 😜

I was feeling down, due to discovering I likely messed up repairing my laptop. Some time ago, I replaced its fan, and things seemed fine... but while chatting & gaming with a friend last night, I noticed my internet speeds got progressively worse. I think the cause is... my laptop getting too hot. 😞

I noticed each Pokemon Funko Pop box has a number on it. I figured it meant there are 1,200 of these things out there, so I looked it up. Nope, that's just for their Pokemon lineup. There's actually over 20,000 of these things. ...Wow. I pity anyone who tried collecting them all at one point. 😵

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

As I said in the other post, I made it back to Meijer and got that Charizard Funko Pop! On my way out, I spotted Lycanroc Midday. My friends know I'm also weak to wolves, so of course I couldn't pass it up! ...Wallet's getting tapped out. I gotta stop spending now. 😅

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Hey, it was still there! That cheered me up a little. And... oh? They had another I didn't see last time! What is it? Well, I'm out right now, but when I get back, I'll reveal it. ;)

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I have a chance to head back up to the store and see if they still have that Funko figure. It's probably gone now, and I'm going to kick myself for procrastinating and losing out, again... but that's the way of the FreezingIceKirby, I guess.

In my youth, I was big on Digimon. Not so much nowadays, but I still think about some of my biggest favorites quite often, like Veemon and Impmon. It seems there's something going on right now called "The Best Adventure". I don't know much about it, but... I just loved seeing these two again. 😊

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Ugh, this is why I often don't like making lists of my favorite things, such as games. I went back and looked at my top 20 list (one pick per franchise), and I'm now like "...Why do I have Kao 3 on there?". Oh, I like the game a lot, but... as a top 20? I don't know... 🤨

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

There was another Funko Pop I thought about buying last night, but I ended up passing on it. I'm tempted to go back and get it, given that... well, honestly, I should know better. If I don't get it now and it disappears, the next time I see it will be on eBay for two or three times the price... 😓

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I was rather disappointed I couldn't get that display. On the way home, I stopped in a Meijer, and funnily enough, I seen a Funko Pop of Lycanroc Midnight. I was like "screw it, I'm going home with SOMETHING of him!" And so, I did. 😄

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Best Buy took these down recently. I asked if they had any of this particular display, but they couldn't find any in the back. They said employees took them all, or they were trashed. Well... darn. :(

On the Yooka-Laylee subreddit, if you talk about the original game, chances are, someone'll get mad. "Why would you play it", "the update's better", or they'll gripe about something else. ...Let's run an experiment! I'm going to post a clip from the OG on the sub. Let's see the responses I get! lol

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I had to laugh a little when I seen the price. (Granted, mine's in worse condition. Not that I plan on selling it, though.)

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Resumed Super Mystery Dungeon. Aww, Valk really wants to be Kirb's friend, and we've both got scarves now to cement the new friendship. That's just too cute! ☺️ Also, I just learned I can take proper screenshots on my New 2DS XL, due to it being modded. Wish I knew about that sooner. lol

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

GAH, I hate that I keep seeing stuff like this! It just makes me want to get some for my GB/GBC/GBA collection (and I know that, if I do, it'll be stupidly pricey)! 😅

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Woke up early again and finished Yooka-Laylee. Got 100%, for the fifth time now (and the third time this year). I just enjoy this one so much. Seriously, I love it. It's on my favorites list for a reason! As usual, I'm a little sad the journey's now over. Maybe I'll play it again, soon! 😜

030

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I had a chance to go back to Walmart today, and... Look, I've admitted before that I'm weak to characters I really like, and... well, I really like Charizard! I thought about buying it last time along with Arcanine anyway, so... yeah. 😜

030

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Watching the Sun & Moon portion of the Pokemon anime... I really came to like Kiawe's Alolan Marowak... but I almost wish he belonged to Ash. On one hand, it's doubtful we would've seen him again after S&M... but under Ash, the writers might've actually allowed to him WIN more. 😅

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

This time, I woke up around 7:30am. I was like "cool, time to play some Yooka-Laylee!" I fully completed Moodymaze Marsh, and then I went back to the previous two stages to finish them up. I'm well over half-way done. Up next, Capital Cashino! A stage I enjoy but others don't, I guess. 😅

030

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I woke up around 6:30am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I grabbed my headphones and controller and resumed Yooka-Laylee. I started a new file the other day while chatting with a friend, and I've been hankering to go back to it and 100% it again. I'm currently a third of the way there! 😄

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Decided to play some Super Mystery Dungeon. I just fought/defeated Gabite before stopping for the night. As expected, I'm enjoying it! Especially the music, which has been surprisingly great so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Kirb and Valk's adventure unfolds in this one!

I occasionally see stuff like this around the net, and it makes me wish I had a 3D printer. There are just SOOOOOOO many things I'd love to make with one. 👀

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Just saw this on eBay. Pikachu, Treecko, Mudkip, Randall Boggs, and Combusken. What a lineup of terrific Pokemon! 😅

I decided to try the little questionnaire/interview thing at the start, just to see what might pop up. It decided I'm a... Chikorita? Er... no. lol

110

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Started up Super Mystery Dungeon, just to check a few things, and this is one of the first things that pops up when you start a new file. Even the game's glad I finally have it now! 😂

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Hey hey, it arrived! I'll no doubt dig into this one, soon. 😁

Played a little of Spyro: Ripto's Rage last night. Yup, just your average, casual playthrough. ...What? 🤔

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I let a wheel randomly pick some games for me to play while chatting with a friend. It landed on Yooka-Laylee, and although I was only going to give it a half hour, I ended up going way longer. Like I told him, the internet turned on it, yet I love it. I feel like playing the whole game again. 😂

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I'd like to make an update video on my gaming corner, but I want to wait until I get something else to hold all of my games. I can't seem to find what I have in mind, so I'm going to make it, myself... but I don't have all the materials, and I'm not sure when I can get them. In due time, I suppose.

040

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Found myself at Best Buy again. While there, they had a bunch of these Pokemon signs, and quite a few had Lycanroc Midnight on them. Ah, I'd love to take one home. It'd go great in my gaming corner. 🥺

041

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

It seems my local Walmart now has their Christmas ornaments out. Of course, they have some of Pokemon, and of course, I couldn't resist getting at least one (for now). I chose Arcanine... because dogs are cool. Fire dogs, especially. 😜

Last week, I got to explore a bunch of yard sales because of a festival in a nearby small town. This week, another nearby town's having a city-wide rummage. I'm about to go and explore it! ...It's an even smaller town, however. Like, MUCH smaller. I doubt I'll find anything, but... who knows? 😅

eBay email: A seller sent you an offer! Me: Ooh! Which item?? *Checks* Me: Ha ha ha....... no.

Ended up doing some yard work for my mother, as well as replacing the ceiling fan in her room. I told her she didn't have to pay me, but she insisted and told me to pick out a game on eBay. What'd I choose? Well... Charmander Kirb and Treecko Valk shall explore some super mystery dungeons, soon! 😁

I want to obtain a Pokemon game that allows me to form of team of various canines. Admittedly, this is my love of dogs and wolves talking. I'm thinking Growlithe, Houndour, Poochyena, both Lycanroc Midnight and Midday, and any others I might not know about. For me, it'd be the perfect team. 🐶

Found a post on Reddit about someone who really loves transparent red game consoles, controllers, etc.... and I find myself wanting to act like a high schooler and be like "Dang, dawg, you're cool. Let's hang out!" 😂

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I went over the cards I now own, and eliminating duplicates, I have... h'oh boy... 46 out of 151. That's roughly 30% of Gen 1's Pokemon. Oof, I thought we'd found more than that back then. If I try for the whole "complete the set" idea, I'll be collecting for a while. 😅

110

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Oh... I just found out Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are updated re-releases. I had no idea! The Ultra versions are better, unsurprisingly, but... after looking up the differences, I might just go with the originals. They're cheaper, too. I'll think about it. I'm not going to get it right away, anyway.

110

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

When I bought Alpha Sapphire, it came in a case with a... er... custom cover. Mega Kyogre sure looks frightful! Interestingly, they drew this on the back of an Ultra Sun cover. Now I'm tempted to get a copy of that game. Hey, I've got a case for it! (If I do, I'll so get an army of Lycanrocs. 😄)

120

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

A week ago, I ordered a case for my copy of Alpha Sapphire. It arrived today, and just in time, as I finished it up last night! I'll admit, I liked FireRed more, but I still enjoyed it. Hey, it's always fun, building up a team of favorite 'mons (even if I had to hack a few in 🤫)!

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Someone local has a copy of Kirby Air Riders (Switch 2) for $40. I do like me some Kirby, but... admittedly, I'm not big on racing games. In truth? I feel like I've picked my go-to racer, which is Mario Kart 8. I just don't feel any desire now to try any others. I know that's silly, but... 😅

110

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Someone listed a bunch of Pokemon merchandise for $1,500, it clearly had no takers, and now they're like "Okay, how about a nearly 75% discount??" That's one heck of a drop. 😅

010

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I'm close to the end of Alpha Sapphire's main story. I'm about to take on this game's Elite Four, I assume (and May, probably). Here's my final team~ Valk (Sceptile) Charkie (Charziard) King (Marowak) Trident (Floatzel) Copper (Mightyena) Yooka (Kecleon) A fine team, if I do say so, myself! 💪

010

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

As a kid, my brother and I so wanted to get all 151 Pokemon cards, but of course, we never did. Maybe... I can try to complete what we couldn't do back then? I might go over what I have and see what's missing! ...Er, the Charizard card will have to be a repro. The original goes for triple digits. 😅

120

FreezingIceKirby @freezingicekirby.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I'm still playing Alpha Sapphire, and... er... did I overlevel or something? Or are the gym leaders just this wimpy? This is the last gym battle, no less. 😅
