Making a bunch of progress on Love is in the Cards over Thanksgiving break! Also made a team account at @freepizzaparty.bsky.social for more general announcements, we're working towards a more punched up / cohesive release TBA!! #indiegamedev #gamedev
![A score calculation for a poker hand for Bramble and an unseen girl in the game Love is in the Cards. Bramble's score criteria reads "2x card value for any three+ consecutive card values [\n] I'd call this a straight, but she's actually bisexual!".
4 cards of the 5 are highlighted in the hand. Library, with a score of 7, is left un-selected, while the scores of Treasure Hunt (3), Home (4), Cheek Kiss (5), and Tidying (6) form a poker straight. Bramble's ability sum them up to 18 total score, and doubles that. This gives us a hand score of 38 (36 from Bramble, and 2 from the offscreen Violet from having two of the same suit), making this a winning hand against the dealer's 21 points.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:le6jcpth4sukmytmbwqfhnbu/bafkreic47qh5a2mkhdbyf6qvpi7nll6oe6ppn3uevc5i7xabmnlarxbsym)
