I ran a red light on my run and I felt like I was FLYING. It was such a great feeling. I was winding it up because I could see the crosswalk counting down, it's dark and there was six lanes to cross in 4 seconds before the green light. I was already ON but halfway I dropped a gear and punched it

The pace chart for a run with an average pace of 5:06/km. The chart is pretty consistent except for a sharp spike about ⅝ of the way through: me hitting 2:26/km which is like 25km/hr

His diary is found in the show to not only contain pervert forward details about the women he meets but also great wisdom and insight about the world.

The series' english dub is forever mocked for it's over acted and quite absurd voices. It stands alone in this regard matched perhaps only by the original Akira english dub.

The series is also a meta commentary on the anime industry as a whole with it's final episode dedicated entirely to the production of an anime which obviously parallels the experience of the creators.

I give Golden Boy a 5/5 and encourage everyone to watch the english dub as it contains within it the soul of the characters as they could never be presented more faithfully to an english audience.

The duck breast flipped skin up on the stove top before it went in the oven. It looked pretty good to me but alas the golden colour did not result in crispy skin

Tonight's challenge is a big duck breast.

A thick duck breast skin side down in a stainless steel pan. The skin is scored and patted dry as best as I can. It's still a bit cold. I wish it was more room temp but I am fucking hungry. Just patting myself on the back for taking it out of the freezer last night.

My chick rescued a big ass bug. It's so cool! It was stuck in a window. Now it's outside and moving around. Having a drink. It's a 'greater anglewing' I guess. A kind of katydid.

A bug thst looks for all intents and purposes like a leaf with legs. It's a really beautiful green colour.

It was chilling on a stick next to a white bowl with a little water on a deck. Now it is standing in the water and drinking.

It turned out okay! The cheeses were nutty and not over poweringly salty and the garlic was fucking awesome. Steak turned out pretty spot on for me. Actually made food besides eggs my chick will eat! So many pans but so worth the effort.

Culinary adventure time. My chick is vegetarian gluten free so I have rice/corn pasta, a red sauce I will stuff red pepper, oyster mushrooms, onion and garlic into. Got a handeck to add to the sauce and a pecorino to top it off with a fried egg. Making myself a striploin.

Got things prepped and laid out: grated handeck, sliced pecorino, torn mushrooms.

This makes me anxious. There's a non zero chance there are a bunch of cool people with interesting things to tell me but it's probably a bunch of people telling me to shut the fuck up. It's kind of like seeing a speed trap too late and wondering if they're going to come after you.
