The Horse & Groom pub in Belgravia. legend holds that The Beatles frequented the pub in the 1960s, with their manager Brian Epstein living nearby. In more recent times, celebrities like Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow have also visited. So very Belgravia!

The U.S. Embassy. Now a swanky hotel on Grosvenor Square. The American Eagle is still there and actually made from a B52 Bomber.

More classic American architecture in watercolour. Jones Street is a historic, brick‑paved residential street in Savannah’s Historic District. Local lore suggests the saying keeping up with the Joneses” relates to Jones Street’s status.

Perhaps one of the top 10 buildings in the UK according to Pevsner. That’s pretty amazing for a one room gatehouse. I give you Worcester Lodge, Badminton Estate, South Gloucestershire in watercolour and yes Badmingdon was invented here.

An Edinburgh landmark in watercolour the Melville Monument. The column’s position was chosen so that it could be seen from ships in the Firth of Forth, partly honouring Dundas’s role in shipping. His unfortunate relationship with the slave trade (he delayed abolition) is now reflected in his plaque.

Osteria alla Frasca in Venice first opened its doors in 1903 as a wine shop, not a restaurant. The name “alla Frasca” means “leafy branch” in Italian, referring to the grape vine pergola on the facade today. Apparently it used to be a storage space for Titan’s work. Love painting at dusk

Rainbow Row. The most complete Georgian Street in the States in beautiful bright Caribbean colours. Urban legend has it that the colours allowed drunken sailors to find their lodgings. The truth is more about how a community comes together around an idea. Lovely to paint

Lock and Co hatters. Interesting fact hat makers are called milliners the word comes from the nearby company of Haberdashers who would import fancy lace and ribbon from Milan and so wher known as Milaners. Lock is 350 years old!

The Salters’ Hall in the city of London in watercolour. Powerful since the 1300’s. Salt was once really important for preserving food. The Salters’ Hall has a room with the feeling of a salt cave. Neat.
