A new poll in the Texas governor’s race has Democrat Gina Hinojosa leading Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, 49% to 45%, with just weeks remaining before Election Day.The ReconMR poll surveyed 614 likely Texas voters from September 8–11 and has a margin of error of ±4.3 percentage points, meaning the race is still statistically very close.
