In general, claims of magic wands in pipelines should be treated as false, by default, the same as prospective cancer cures. I am not sure about solid state batteries in the future, but I am absolutely sure that no EV comes equipped with one, and until you can buy one, all predictions are false.

I remember supercapacitors. I didn't invest. For several YEARS now, Toyota have announced they are about to launch solid state batteries, but mysteriously, they never arrive. Sorry, I am not susceptible to the ploy of the magic wand as evidence to settle an argument.

The reason EV fires attract so much attention, and rightfully so, is that their fires are extremely hard to extinguish and are far more serious. Fire fighters don't have to have massive metal containers constucted so that an ICE vehicle thats caught fire can be entirely submerged in water for days.
