Lucy has a few years on Keira. They are both excellent Good, proven players. If only the men’s team……

I didn’t see the game but followed on the Beeb website. Was the VAR fair Bob?

Watching Abdy Burnham sitting next to Donald Trump and thinking how much the PM would go up in my estimation if he just said what we all know which is that Trump is evil and needs to be stopped. When the rules of diplomacy apply even to nutjobs we are in deep crisis

We tend to see less of them in the village. Our main problem is pigeons. We love all wildlife life so me calling them a pest is wrong. But my goodness they can can poo. And eat most of my mirabelles

They love chomping plants in flower beds and can make a proper mess little sods. Hope you have strong fencing 🦌

Searching for food? Still very dry in the hedgerows around here and lots of the berries have shrivelled

Indeed. We are now paying the highest ever prices for fuel, gas and electricity Meanwhile the oil and electricity companies get richer and those who spend a higher proportion of their earnings on cooking and heating get poorer. Mad world. Led by old white nutcases enriching themselves at our cost

Have you seen the price of diesel ⛽️

Hmm. Not sure about that tbh. I have yet to find a palatable one. If I am out with the car for lunch (we live in the countryside ) I go for a zero beer. There are some pretty good ones nowadays tbh. Or, or, or I get S to drive and drink wine 🥴

I like mango chutney on anything spicy not only curry. Love a fruity taste on many things. Peaches with blue cheese, apple sauce of course with pork, sweetcorn relish with fried chicken or hot dogs.

He made a good save from McBurnie to prevent 1-3 but I agree he hasn’t looked great so far. His last year at Villa was not good according to my Villa mate

To be fair he is playing behind clown defenders

Fred Nelson @fredwnelson.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Agreed. Miss Caicedo big time in mf and standard of defending is awful

I really want Estevao to be successful but he has a lot to learn about keeping his head and being positive and combative but not angry. Very talented and very raw

Exciting to watch when we have the right players on the pitch but we are so poor in midfield without Caicedo. Worrying watching Colwill who has lost his composure since he returned. Estevao needs to learn from Barco. Get clattered, get up, don’t moan. Fun to watch but miles behind defensively
