Fredo's Game-Os: Harvestella This one is originally from a few years ago and I had tried the demo at the time but was not too impressed. I decided to pick it up more recently on sale and I did start to get really into it after an initial hump of a few boring, overly simplistic initial hours

I feel like if the anti-woke stuff had hit a bit earlier, Wet for the ps3 would have been one of those games like stellar blade where there's this huge astroturfed campaign from the anti-wokes who would have been arguing for it to be game of the year over stuff like uncharted 2 or arkham asylum

Another thing I'm really appreciating about onimusha is that it is challenging and demanding of the player without relying on any of the "spit in your face" style punitive mechanics that soulslikes often use. I realize it's pretty rare to see a tougher action game that is not like that these days

Update: Really cool flick! I appreciated that they struck this great balance between making it feel like the progression of a video game while not just copying the story from the games, and unlike a lot of visiting game adaptations that do a more original story, it felt very respectful of the games

One additional thought: Another thing I really appreciate about this game is that it really tries hard to avoid the annoying fake difficulty traps that are so common in more challenging third person action games
