There are genuinely held conservative views on a range of subjects that can be grounds for political debate. Arguments over the size, the role of free markets in the economy, for example. But instead we keep hearing 'dog whistle' themes designed to appeal various prejudices out in the electorate.

Truly grateful that someone else has done this so the rest of us can be spared. It has become so detached from reality and objectivity. Yet I still meet numerous people happy to claim they read it and that it is a 'good paper'. Reverse the mirror and wonder why people think it reflects their reality

But in recruitment and so many other critical career decisions points Ai is creeping in. I owe so much in my own life to decision makers who played a hunch and whom I hope felt rewarded.

Do you have strong feelings...... ? Agree 100 percent. Simple common decency to have a human review the proposals. Also the outliers are often so important and likely to be missed.

Just so sad to see a politician of any political colour behave like this... Words have consequences....

Excellent, I really appreciate when some one shares a workflow and documents it so well. Very much in the right spirit.

Inured: To be accustomed to something undesirable, especially by prolonged subjection; habituated to a negative state. Desensitized: Made less likely to feel shock or distress at negative situations through overexposure.

Why do people persist in trying to look at the night sky in the UK when most of the time the cloud gets in the way? A serious question of human behavior...if you were going to design an intermittent behaviour reinforcement schedule you would never design this... But people still lookup!

The 585 camera seems ideal with the C11. What filters are you using? The chip has extended IR sensitivity, are you benefiting from this? I am in south West UK with often very poor seeing and have previously experimented with IR pass filters... Lower resolution but more usable frames.

I am a glady of 25 years standing. The show has always provided an excellent view of the British body politic from an excellent vantage point. Half a world away. Not immersed, yet with a deep understanding of the culture. A simple thank you for your contributions to the little radio show.

That is an interesting collection of data on your all sky camera, what is the software / setup? Most impressive.

Thanks for posting this...it really touched a nerve... I am old enough to recall the mission and to have learned the lesson that duct tape can fix anything!

I thought it may have been the Samyang/Rokinon 135. I have purchased the lens , star adventurer and a cooled mono Altair 585 camera with tiny 2.9 pixels. While we all can appreciate itsy bitsy tiny objects a long way away I never cease to be amazed by these massive clouds and structures. Brilliant
