That's just it. Even if there's fraud, the juice won't be worth the squeeze. Far too many of the most vulnerable people will be severely impacted.

They shouldn't show the price adjusted for 2025 US dollars...they should show it adjusted for "hours at 2025 US minimum wage." That hasn't changed since before the Wii U.

It's only illegal if someone stops them. Otherwise it's just precedent.

If they're looking for names, they are looking for Hispanic and ethnic-sounding names. Don't kid yourself. Just like all those dangerous migrants getting deported for heinous acts like parking in a yellow zone or attending college or existing.

Hydrogen advocates generally are overly anxious about the lifestyle changes of driving an EV. Hydrogen solves charge times and not much else. Which doesn't matter nearly as much as ICE-drivers think it does. You plug it in at night like your phone and it's got plenty of juice for the day ahead.

What abundance of green energy? US isn't even at 25% green yet. Hydrogen isn't a fuel. It is a storage system for excess energy. Aka a battery. And a less efficient one than modern batteries (which are still improving). H is better in terms of energy density, but far worse in efficiency.

Then first we need miracle hydrogen, or at least an abundance of green energy, because making hydrogen now is an energy intense process, and that energy means carbon, which means higher net emissions. Nothing solved.

You need to separate Hydrogen from water via electrolysis to make green ammonia. Why even make the ammonia at that point, the electrolysis is the hard part. How does hydrogen get to the gas station?

Speaking of grid, that's another point. Hydrogen has to be transported too. Pipelines or tanker trucks. We already have that for electricity, and it works damn well. But, H could also be good as part of the grid, as a battery for high demand. Not as good as pumped storage but probably easier.

Hydrogen is just a fancy battery tho There is much more energy loss generating H to store in a tank, then again to electricity. Much less loss in just...charging a battery. We need better batteries, not H-cars. H is good where there's limited grid access, like cargo ships.

It's an offhand joke about a typo, y'all could just chill. Danish words look like typos to my English eyes. Like they smacked the keyboard so hard they found three new letters.

Hosting in-house isn't free. It takes staff to maintain. Electricity. Cooling. Periodic upgrades. Those computers won't poof into existence. And cloud services are also used for bursty jobs, like running 100s of models off the data simultaneously. That's not usually efficient to run in-house.

Only in countries where the competing children's programming is all "sharia law" this and "death to America" that. We'll see how that plays out in 20 years, I guess.

A new Costco just opened in Sharon, MA, 20 minutes from the RI border. I was amazed how many RI plates were in the lot. Probably more than MA. There's also a BJs (regional competitor) literally right on the line. But they went anti-DEI.

Instead, only try to realize the truth... There is no fraud. There is only things the administration doesn't like. Which normally shouldn't matter, because Congress has the power of the purse, and all this went through congress. Yet here we are.

Eugenics is the goal. It's plain as day. Force birth but deny vaccines and healthcare? Sounds like applied "Survival of the Fittest". Eugenics. At some point we gotta stop dancing around calling a spade a spade instead of "a potentially insensitive race-related term". Media is complicit.

I'm not really convinced we had one in 2024, what with all the bomb threats, closures, denied provisional ballots, voter roll purges, mass voter challenges, and of course "Elon's help", whatever that means. We all know what that means.

Musk made his billions off the labor of his employees. Employees that were educated by our schools and drove in on our roads or telecommuted on fiber that we paid for. $400B belongs to the employees and the roads and schools they came in on. Not Musk. He hasn't done shit worth a fraction of that.

How can God be above man and man he above nature? I'm atheist, so maybe missing something...but isn't nature like, a part of God? Like...his creation...that we're entrusted to protect? This is literally a circle jerk and they put God on either side of man. Is this the Holy Trinity?

Science *literally* cannot be further from religion. Science is the pursuit of objective truth by testing and repetition. Religion is the blind acceptance of subjective "truth" without scrutiny. If anything, MAGA is the religion here. More Grandoise Opportunistic Projection.
