BREAKING: Dr. Mehmet Oz, under the Trump administration, is ending the Medicare Part D subsidy program in 2027. A program that helps tens of millions of senior Americans afford their vital prescription drugs.
This one change will result in higher prescription costs and increased insurance premiums for people who are already barely getting by on fixed incomes that don't adequately adjust for the recent dramatic rise in the cost of living.
In other words, the Trump administration is again "saving money" by taking away support from the Americans who need it the most. All in the name of supporting tax breaks for the super wealthy, financing an unnecessary war in Iran, and Trump's personal grift and drain on the Treasury.
There's only one word to describe it. EVIL.

Google basically laughed at my search for where gas is less than $2 in the US

As of early December 2025, finding gas under $2 a gallon in the U.S. is extremely rare, with most states averaging above $2.50-$3.00; however, you might find pockets in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado where specific stations dip below $3, but sub-$2 prices are more a thing of the past or limited to very few spots, not widespread, with Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Arkansas generally having the lowest averages (around $2.70-$2.80).
