Solo-dev, maintaining multiple native codebases for the same features is a trap. Even with AI, you don’t have the human and financial resources of a big company to keep everything in parity. It’s a massive waste of time. Solo-devs: stay cross-platform.

Des bons souvenirs du blocus du lycée 😊 Les médias disait juste qu’on était des glandeurs qui voulaient pas faire cours, qu’on ne comprenait rien. Mais une fois arrivé sur le marché du travail, de comprendre encore mieux comment ça marche, j’étais tellement heureux que cette m**de n’existe pas !

Problème enfin résolu ✅ J’ai enlevé tous les liens Amazon, mais ajouté une détection pour les laisser si l’utilisateur a l’app Amazon d’installée (vu que le lien ouvre directement l’app, le bouton pour la version kindle est grisé, donc je reste dans les clous)

Exemple dans l’app amazon. Mais le pire, c’est que vu qu’amazon gère l’universal-linking, le lien web ouvre l’app native si elle est installée (grande majorité des cas je pense), et donc les users arrivent sur cet écran, sans possibilité d’acheter l’ebook 😬 Mais le tester il a pas l’app amazon 😅

Dans les apps tu n’as pas le droit de mettre de liens vers des contenu digitaux (ebooks) ou abonnements (netflix, spotify, …) ni même d’expliquer que c’est possible en allant en dehors de l’app ! Je link vers les versions papiers, mais j’ai pas de param pour cacher l’onglet de la version kindle…

J'ai un délais de 2 semaines pour régler le problème ! Entre ma réclamation qui a mis 5 jours pour obtenir une réponse et mes 3 versions de l'app qui ont été refusées, si je ne règle pas le problème avant le 20 août je suis supprimé du store, sympa… Et vous vos vacances ? 🥵

My take on Liquid Glass: if leading apps such as Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, WhatsApp, YouTube, Discord, Spotify, or Uber aren’t using it, I don’t see a need to redesign with it either.

Je suis un peu sceptique sur les perfs web car je ne trouve pas dans la doc d'explication sur l'implementation web. Pas d'explication sur le background thread en web (pas de mention d'un éventuel web worker?), donc pas de "dual-threaded runtimes" avec ses avantages…

Pour faire des animations custom, c'est manipulation en direct du "dom" dans le main thread. Il va y avoir plusieurs librairies d'anims, d'une certaine manière ça encourage l'innovation dans le user-land, mais un peu dommage de pas proposer une api officielle un peu plus haut niveau.

Niveau API des animations, bah on a que du web (css transition/animation et web animation api-like avec animate()) qui a une approche key-frame. C'est pas terrible, il suffit de voir l'exemple sur le spring-effect : lynxjs.org/guide/stylin...

À voir si le fait de devoir penser en permanence à ce qui tourne sur le main ou le background thread n'est pas un peu lourd à la longue. Cela à l'air d'avoir un gros impact sur la gestion des événements, et justement react-native était un peu sortis de cette approche.

Un nouveau framework cross-platform 👀 Dans son approche d'être plus proche du web, il me fait penser à react-strict-dom + stylex Avoir le choix d'explicitement déclarer ce qui tourne sur le main thread et le background thread est intéressant, surtout pour les devs de libs, je pense.
