Thanks 🙏. I really like their show there as good as the Italians but the best way I can describe. It was Driving in Toronto versus Driving and Rome bit more precise in Toronto and Rome had that frantic energy. And yes, I’ve driven in both cities.

Down one leg, but got lucky on that aspect that’s why it fills the frame in that platform shot. There’s a pretty considerable distance at Edwards from where you can shoot to where the runway is, and you can’t actually even see it from where I was shooting. But without a doubt, smaller aircraft

Yes I would. Now to be fair the B2 physically looks in the photo because it’s at considerably lower altitude. I took an educated guess where to set up after seeing it. Depart from my hotel that morning and I figured it would come in and take the option I didn’t know it would pick the south downwin

Don’t get me wrong. I love Fleet week but from a photography standpoint, it’s tough unless you’re on a boat in the bay. And I wasn’t gonna miss the snowbirds first time and last time possibly

It was more tongue in cheek. The first version of the u-2 had a over speed / stall speed margin at altitude as little as 6 knots or the coffin corner. But you are correct the -S has way more margin.

F-111 Aardvark was a 60's era fighter bomber novel in its time for having swing wings. It was primarily a tactical aircraft but had a strategic version the FB-111A that had nuclear capability RAAF was the last operator of it. It dumps fuel then ignites it with its afterburner

Civilian not military. Fox Jet is owned by Bob Carlton who also flies the Super Salto jet powered glider as well (from Edwards 2022). The closest to a military glider I have is the U-2S

actually, they’re not even after burning turbo fans so the snowbirds are actually relatively quiet. Now, if you want loud, I suggest spotting either in the panamint valley or in and around Edwards Air Force Base because their sections that are supersonic corridors and you can get boomed.
