I don't know if they are still around, but there was a place in Savannah downtown that was reasonably priced that would do this very thing. It ruled.

PAID GIG I'm looking for someone who could provide ASL illustrations based on a script. There are 50 to 6O signs needed. This is for a comic I'm translating. You'd either be providing ASL illustrations for someone to use when adapting the artwork, or working in the art directly. #Comics #ASL

With news of the Webtoon/Marvel Unlimited merger, I have made myself curious: Do Marvel creators get any royalties for their work on these digital platforms? And if so, how so?

Yeah! Shame, the dough used to hit hard.

The Savannah location may still hold strong! I'm in FL for a con, this one... the shiitake pie toppings still rule. But the dough ain't it.

Fred C. Stresing @fredcstresing.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

It is a slightly regional chain. I'm back visiting the region and wondering if a quick expansion they did is hurting the quality. The dough used to be so good, man! (The pizza I got was *okay* but that was largely down to knowing the best topping combo there, ha!)

Doughboys Issue #4 should be sent to our fans any day now, and I wanted to share a little preview! Starring @doughboys.bsky.social, @nicolebyer.bsky.social, and drawn by the genius @fredcstresing.bsky.social and @megcasey.bsky.social.

Panel One:

Mitch has hearts in his eyes and his nose is bleeding. Nicole Byer is dressed fancy and pointing at him while Wiger is asking Mitch a question.

Wiger: Hey buddy, are you okay?

Nicole: Whoa! You don't host a dating podcast, so you don't know - Mitch is HORNY for that GAL!

Panel Two:

Mitch has gone full Tex Avery. His eyes are bugging out and he's bashing himself with a mallet as his tongue rolls out.

SFX: BONK BONK BONK

Nicole: He's bashing himself with a mallet, he's so horny! Wow, and -

PANEL THREE:

Mitch is howling with hearts in his eyes, about to stick the lethal injection in his arm, denoted by a skull. Wiger holds back his arm as Nicole freaks out.

Wiger: the mallet wasn't enough! He's so horny he's trying to give himself a lethal injection -

Nicole: Mitch! Cut it out! Mitch!

Great! I seem to recall this as an issue with very early generations. I'm looking into a few options here. Also maybe looking into a tablet just for reading digital comics from my Humble Bundle collections, ha. It's gotten pretty vast.

Digital Art folks! My iPad Pro is looking to maybe be on its last legs here-- not charging great and freezing up/restarting a lot. What tablets do you all use now, primarily for Clip Studio? And is there at this point any real advantage to a Pro over a regular iPad? Mainly for comic book work

I do think pinning this on specifically Taco Bell is weird since many confirmed cases aren’t people who ate at Taco Bell at all and we know the actual source—Taylor Farms—distributes lettuce and other produce to many, many other large food businesses
