Lolololol as a former big time meat & cheese eater, I'm now eating my vaygun BLAT (tempeh bacon) & never been more proud. Even though Talarico isn't vegan, hope Trump's recruiting more folks to the plant-based life.

Could feel my heart and spirit swell just biking up to this ❤️. Literally can't believe this is just one of 50+ events in the greater LA Metro today. Also literally can't believe this is Pasadena, CA. #NoKings

It was a blast (pun intended) to watch the end of the World Series, but this is just so dumb. Back to being a contrarian curmudgeon about air quality after fireworks.

Saw this yesterday, thought it slightly aggressive, but...you know.

Not a question, just found this entertaining in my feed. Did a double take.

Love taking Metro, especially not to work. ✈️❤️

Shoutout to @nelaindivisible.bsky.social & @rootedinresistance.bsky.social for keeping the momentum going & organizing so many local Pasadena protests all year. Beautiful scene and start at City Hall, and continued down to line Colorado. Curious when there have ever been so many in Pas in <9 months

Got back on the Metro for Labor Day Protest in Pasadena. I was probably surrounded my multi-millionaires, but I stand by this message. Sus until proven you support appropriate taxation.

Sign du jour. First part is inspired by Vibe Check and @theferocity.bsky.social but should I note that on sign? The episode was titled "...kinda bad" - don't remember exact quote and don't want to attribute something I'm misquoting.

Gratitude to organizers. A last minute joyful vigil & protest in Pasadena, where 6 were abducted early this morning on their way to work - cleaning up & rebuilding after the fires burned through the community and mountains in the background. Faith leaders joining police to protect the community.

Pasadena takes the street, peacefully, with the backdrop of the mountains that burned. Fuck ICE. ICE out of Dena.

Crowd growing in Pasadena. ICE out of Dena. Fuck ICE.

The best part of waking up is better than Folgers coffee, and this snapshot on LA Metro. Never tire of it.

I know this was not the point of Bernchella, and my camera is cheap AF, but can we please admire Maggie Rogers (and the A+ sound system)? Also I don't understand how Joan Baez is 84. She looks and sounds so good.

Good morning - probably too late but wanted to share what I saw on reddit. Seen a few comments about clear bags and risking small purse based on previous events. Not complete sure what LA policy is.

Amber Lung @freckledcackler.bsky.social · 07/04/2025

Yikes. Young children and the elderly. Not a good look for LA Metro.

To the woman who shouted "empathy is badass!" from the sidewalk, thank you, you brought such a smile to my face and I will carry that memory with me ❤️ #Handsoff #handsofflosangeles #DTLA #LosAngeles

Cannot wait. But also...a non-folk headliner would be smart. This is LA.

Inspired to capture just one side of the beginning of the Pasadena #TeslaTakedown from something else Elon hates: public transit.

Amber Lung @freckledcackler.bsky.social · 29/03/2025

Already got a honk (and smiles and waves) at the bus stop omw to #TeslaTakedown ha. People were reading upside down. Everyone hates Elon.

Amber Lung @freckledcackler.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Bahaha these numbers. Trains on opposite tracks. Monday afternoon in one of the largest cities in the world. #LAMetro Ambassadors are crushing it, we'd be lost without them. They will not be paid enough for the Olympics. Shuttle buses are going to be the only way car-free Olympics gets pulled off.

Big Los Angeles #womensmarch in DTLA. Felt good. Nothing like years past, but trying to be hopeful.

Amazing turnout. Thank you organizers and community! Can't wait to see more pics and estimates. The woman waving the flag explained how isolating it can feel at home on her couch alone, that this event gave her hope ♥️ #3E #USProtests #fiftyfiftyone #NoKings #Feb17 #NorthHollywood

#TeslaTakedown continues on one of El*n's first enemies: public transit. En route to #50501 protest in LA / North Hollywood.
