Ive been drinking my sorrows away over the weekend during ramadan mashallah My sister is in dubai and lives near a us airbase. And shes been reporting ton of shockwaves and loud booms. Lots of debris has killed innocent civilians in dubai. My anger and hatred for this world only intensifies.

Ramadan does teach discipline. The new me admires it. It gives you focus. Brings you peace. And helps you be steadfast on your path. I guess I'll make up my approach to this month as I go along the way. May fast some days. May not fast some days. Will definitely visit the mosque at some point.

This Ramadan is a weird one. I mean its the second one since ive left religion and i dont believe in it. But it makes me nostalgic and makes me yearn for the Ramadan I used to have as a kid. The good food. The late night with friends. The wholesome atmosphere. I miss those times.
