Of course, when others offer public service announcements (PSAs) it's "overly political."

Don't fall for the johnny-come-larely Republicans who only now are critical of Trump policy and action. They are well beyond a day late and a dollar short. Throw the Republican bums out! All of them!

Something for all voters to think about right now: At least two bad things will happen right after the midterms: 1) Trump will resume bombing Iran, and 2) Medicaid cuts will begin. If you feel disrespected and injured now, just wait. It will get worse. Vote Democrat to mitigate the effects of this.

National Security has rapidly become the universal solvent for the facist Trump regime. Not even the First Amendment can resist dissolution in their mealy minds.

"Democrats Snatch Defeat From the Jaws of Victory" is the clickbait headline that CNN and other MSN outlets are working on. It's all about the clicks; rational analysis and discussion are irrelevant. Note that these outlets don't solicit feedback from their audiences like here on Bluesky.

We need to remember what the US said about its goals in attacking Iran back in March: www.war.gov/News/Transcr... They claimed that Iran "would not be able to project power beyond its own borders." Subsequent events have shown that this to be absolutely untrue.

Assuming that Democrats prevail this year and in 2028, I want to wish Donald Trump just enough time on this mortal coil to see all of his evil work rapidly undone and historians framing his tenure as being among the worst of all American presidencies. Then, he can go ... to H, E, double tooth pics.

So we need to develop insights into why people reject prevailing scientific conclusions, going past the veneer of pseudo-science to the core beliefs that drive this self-destructive behavior. Is it religious? anti-establishment? what? The fight against this requires that we understand the enemy.

Where do you go to get advice on how to surveil and control an unhappy population? Russia and China have the experience and proven techniques and technology. So our intrepid FBI leader Kash Patel does the obvious thing, consult with Russia and China.

Just imagine a world where surveillance cameras (e g. Flock), facial recognition, artificial intelligence and other technologies combine to form the Eye of Sauron, Big Brother and the eyes of everyone else looking to find something to "correct" or "adjust."
Over the last few months, people have cut down surveillance cameras owned by the company Flock Safety with an electric saw in upstate New York, thrown paint on them in Oakland, California, and rammed a truck into them in Idaho. One man in Florida sits in a lawn chair holding up a piece of cardboard on a pole to block the camera’s view. City governments have joined in by deactivating the cameras or canceling contracts with Flock in Fort Collins, Colorado; Eugene, Oregon; Madison, Wisconsin; Knoxville, Tennessee; Syracuse, New York; and Walla Walla, Washington.

Flock sells its services as a crime-fighting tool, built on a network of cameras that record and analyze everything that passes by them. Law enforcement agencies that have contracts with Flock use its troves of observed license plate numbers and other vehicle data to track or reconstruct the movements of vehicles in criminal investigations.

Flock says it has 120,000 automated license plate reader (ALPR) and pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) cameras deployed throughout the US, capturing tens of billions of data points a month. Flock’s ALPRs automatically scan every license plate that passes them, while the PTZs record live footage that can be reviewed and analyzed. Because Flock cameras are all connected, the result is a nationwide latticework of recorded activity. A police officer in Los Angeles can be alerted if a car they’re looking for pops up in Chicago and can inform the local authorities.

In recent weeks and months, though, another kind of network has taken shape: a coast-to-coast pattern of opposition to the company. The objectors range from public officials to individual vigilantes, spanning metropolitan and rural America alike. In a politically divided country, opposition to Flock cameras is the rare issue that binds people across the ideological spectrum.

“It’s a violation of people’s privacy,” said Caleb Williams, a 24-year-old in rural South Carolina who identified as a political independent.

Donald Trump has what psychologists might call an EDIFICE COMPLEX.
It’s been many years since President Donald Trump flew commercial. But on Wednesday, he unveiled major renovations to a key Washington-area airport — his latest effort to shape infrastructure around the nation’s capital.

Trump oversaw proposals for a massive, $22.5 billion project at Dulles International Airport, the Northern Virginia air travel hub with direct flights to more than 50 countries.

“This is very exciting to me as a builder — somebody that builds lots of big, nice projects before I got here, and we’re doing some of the best in the world right now,” Trump said in the Oval Office Wednesday, seated before a large model of the newly imagined airport that covered his desk. He gestured enthusiastically at renderings of the plans that sources say he personally reviewed and approved, using a laser pointer to highlight new parking areas closer to the main terminal.

Throughout his second term, the president has often used the Oval Office to debut proposals for building and repairing — not just at the White House, but across the city and surrounding region.

He’s tried to renovate the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, build a new triumphal arch and National Garden of American Heroes, restore fountains across town and slapped his name — with limited enduring success — on prominent institutions. And while some of those projects may be more popular than others among DC residents, a 58% majority of Americans say they feel dissatisfied or angry about his construction projects in DC, according to a new CNN poll released Wednesday.

“You know, it’s a great thrill,” Trump said Wednesday when asked why he’s so focused on transforming the Washington, DC, area.

Dulles has been on Trump’s mind for months.

“Whether you’re a Republican or Democrat, you don’t want to go and be subjected to this airport,” Trump said in the Oval Office, echoing his comments from a December Cabinet meeting that Dulles is a “terrible” airport.

Presidential pardons a la Trump are nothing new. The Medici family used pardons called dispensations to reward allies who committed criminal acts on their behalf. A pardon should only be valid with the advice and consent of Congress. Our founders may have missed this but an amendment will fix it.

Because there is no realistic possibility of eliminating the Trump administration before 2028, the best and only strategy available is to remove as many Republicans from office as possible. Without those enablers, Trump can be effectively countered and neutered by active Democrats. Midterms are key.

I have a new, better way to finance the US war in Iran: Every American billionaire will contribute 50% of their wealth immediately. The US government will take that wealth in whatever form it exists (stocks, bonds, etc.), liquidate it, and proceed with all deliberate speed on regime change in Iran.

The problem with US prediction markets is that there is no "house" that absorbs the loss when a bettor wins. Traditionally, the house is highly motivated to uncover cheating and has the power to mete out punishment, usually a ban. Prediction losses are absorbed by all other (powerless) bettors.

What's the Democratic strategy for 2026 and beyond? Trump is not explicitly on any ballot, so voters have to grok the abstractions = active +/or passive support for his actions. More importantly, Democrats have to be for something that has local value. Emulate those Democrats who are winning.

Hegseth's campaign against "low T" may be just the beginning. It's not that much of a stretch to imagine that next up will be the ready availability of steroids for the troops. Maybe a mandate for some. Are we ready for "roid rage?"
"Roid rage" is an unpredictable and dramatic phenomenon where users of anabolic steroids experience severe mood swings, intense irritability, and uncontrollable aggression. It is essentially an extreme loss of impulse control, where a minor stimulus can trigger a massive overreaction. [1, 2, 3]
The scientific consensus regarding "roid rage" spans a few distinct angles:
What Happens: The massive influx of testosterone or synthetic analogs impacts brain chemistry and areas of the brain that regulate emotion and impulse. For example, studies suggest it can alter neurotransmitter distribution, especially if abuse begins during adolescence. [1, 2]

Who It Affects: Research indicates that steroid-induced aggression is most pronounced in individuals who already possess a pre-existing high-risk personality profile (e.g., high impulsivity or pre-existing psychiatric issues). However, excessive, supraphysiological doses can trigger mania-like or deeply hostile symptoms in almost anyone. [1, 2, 3]

The Clinical View: While "roid rage" is the famous pop-culture term, the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction classifies these as "negative personality changes" that accompany a whole host of dangerous physical health risks like cardiovascular damage and hormonal imbalances. [1, 2]

If you are dealing with or witnessing someone experiencing psychiatric symptoms or erratic behavior from anabolic steroid use, the best course of action is to step back for physical safety and encourage the individual to consult a mental health professional or primary care provider. If there are concerns about self-harm or violence, seeking immediate medical or legal intervention is highly recommended. [1]

In Iran, Trump has painted himself into a corner. There are only two options available to him: humiliation and GBOGH (Go Big or Go Home). He would rather trash the US than suffer a humiliating defeat that he can't disguise as something else. Thus, he will eventually opt for GBOGH. Only Fix: Impeach.

Under the 22nd Amendment, if a VP takes over the presidency at the two-year mark or later, they can still run for two more terms. It's rather frightening to consider the possibility that Vance could become the incumbent president next year and then potentially hold office for a total of 10 years.

What the US has forgotten about war since WW II: War is a binary proposition (ON/OFF) whenever one or more of the participants sees the situation in existential terms. When ON, warfare will escalate to the maximum extent possible in terms of duration and violence. Pain is maximized until war is OFF.

Further evidence of how ill-conceived Trump's war of choice against Iran was. The Trump regime was engaged in magical thinking rather than the binary reality of war, where the goal is to eliminate the enemy's will to resist. In totalitarian regimes, the will to resist is in the hands of only a few.
