Loving these, particularly the little details like Lois nearly losing a shoe.

Most likely yes. There's different ways to do it but I believe the most common were an actual visual copy of the waveform on the edge of the reel or a magnetic strip like cassettes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound-o...

Back in the day before Maga the same people wearing red hats now would be questioning him purely on eye makeup alone

Lefty loosey, righty tighty. True of screws and asses, tight ass

000

Because if it's true for screws it must be true for life.

You can have a go at answering this but honestly I'm gonna block you soon because that's the joy of Bluesky. In the same way I don't invite trolls to sit at my table in the pub, I don't need to hear your noise. Pick a fight with someone who cares. Hint, they're on twitter.

Trump doesn't have control over the media? Why did they go after "sleepy Joe" but haven't said squat about Trump's MANY instances of incoherence or somnolence? The world is totally different now. No point drawing parallels between him and Hitler because Hitler didn't have Twitter and truth social.

I got a couple of these but forgot one in the fridge in a paper bag. instead of going slimy it simply dried perfectly. They are the best of mushrooms.

If the rally was being live streamed, much the same as happened here. The question should be if Trump had the control over the media that Hitler had, how many MORE people would be "missing". You can't compare two hypothetical situations 80 years apart and act like only the person makes a difference.

This was the one I came to ask

Franki @franki23.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I wondered if it was done on purpose to see if anyone would challenge him or to deliberately unsettle people. It did actually unsettle me as I read it and I only noticed on the third one I think.

It feels like there would be a herd evolutionary advantage to yet-to-reproduce people being able to eat things that older generations couldn't get their teeth through. Is that a thing? Certainly teeth are on evolution's "good enough I guess" list

Also I had no idea the stories of Oz were so complex. I only knew the Wizard of Oz and Return to Oz. I need to delve at some point but I'm really enjoying not knowing stuff too and learning it through your work.

This was an excellent opportunity for a full re-read last night. One of the things I love about webcomics is the slow drip feed of pages followed by a full read through for the moments you didn't notice first time. Yours is full of them and so much charm. I love these goofballs 💜

I'm not going to watch missiles rain indiscriminately on a town then watch an RC car blow up a military target and think this a step in the wrong direction.

He can probably see at least 180 degrees. Or realistically as an actor he can't see a damn thing

And the horse she rode in on.

120

When's he gonna make his strait straight again?

000

Is everyone seeing it now? I feel like everyone should be able to see it now.

000

Actually took less than 4 hours. I think it had an M and a Q in it but that's all I got and unless I check again, it won't get any better 😂 50s amirite?

000

Now I looked it up safe in the knowledge that in a couple of days I'll be a true fan again

Time to take out the trash. Happy midterms America!

Damnit now I'm looping!

Time for braces! Or suspenders. In the UK we call garters suspenders and we can suspenders braces. We also call braces braces but context distinguishes between teeth and trousers. Language is weird.

Yes Yes Hell yes I may not be taking this as seriously as some

Franki @franki23.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Absolutely there has but people complain that it's not as good as was "promised at the election" while ignoring all the anti growth stuff that happened and the fact that you can't promise growth precisely.

Franki @franki23.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I dunno if it's any help or might affect you adversely but have you considered a private medical cannabis prescription? Helps me sleep but of course, your mileage may vary. Sorry to hear they're not listening 😔

Hopefully it gets canned after one season

"Kier Starmer promised growth" You ignore that then Donald Trump got elected and the global economy is suffering but sure you can say technically Starmer broke his promise. When Burnham makes his promises it's facing the reality of the world. That's the difference.

Always a good move. I remember checking into a hotel in London, the guy asked "how are you today?" I answered good and how are you doing? He was taken aback, thanked me and said nobody ever asks that. I mean, we're all humans, right?

New Reform policy, less is more. Also war is peace and poverty is wealth.

The fact that you care about something others wouldn't give a second thought to add that you've taken steps to make sure it doesn't happen again shows you're a good person. Nature can be cruel sometimes and today it was so under your house. Beating yourself up won't change anything for the better.

Ah that is very cool. The music was excellent too. I love this Bert and Ernie, Tom and Jerry, Laurel and Hardy kinda humour. Great character animation
