Today’s walk run along the River Itchen spotted quite a few types of butterfly including a red admiral, loads of brimstones, an orange tip and got a photo of a speckled brown and a painted lady #Hampshire #nature #butterflies

In St James’ Park, London today. An Egyptian geese pair with five goslings but one of the goslings much larger than the others, presumably older? There was pair with one gosling of a similar size to the big one in the park last week. Have they adopted the smaller ones? Any theories?

The Transport for London website says if you want a bus to stop you should be visible at the bus stop and, if possible, you should signal. However the baseline is that the driver should stop if you are visible. Of course it may be different outside of London.
