Bad things happen to everyone. So you feeling good is silly. Biden is surrounded by love during his bad days. Instead being a horrible person maybe you want to make sure when the bad things happen to you, because they will, you are surrounded with love and hope no one feels good when bad hits you.

I agree. I was hoping Biden would win in 2024 and half way through hand it to Harris but George Clooney & millionaire donors ruined it. Dems need to listen to Black women voters we knew Harris was a longshot. 2028 we need a Beshear or Pritzker and a woman VP Alsobrooks to balance the ticket.

It would still be unconstitutional. Black people were turned away to vote because they couldn't guess how many beans in a jar. Any requirement that is unduely required to vote is not legal.

Yes we do. That's why I'm going to take the summer off and take my Black family on a vacation somewhere and sit and watch them turn on each other when that 401K is in the tank. By the end of the year they'll come running back for us Black women to save them & we will in 2026 but on our terms.

A lot of the homes lost in Altadena were owned by Black people who've had them for decades. In the 60's it was one of the few cities where Black people could buy a house. I have a few friends who have lost their family home. But the homes in Palisades & Malibu are mostly those of the wealthy.

We were not unprepared. We are just humans and nothing us humans in Los Angeles could have done to stop the wind. Santa Ana winds are like nothing you can imagine, especially at 80 miles per hour. Embers were the size of golf balls. Firefighters are also humans.

Like our Mayor said, forces will try to divide us so our number 1 focus is stopping the fires and taking care of each other. The amt of love and compassion I'm seeing in LA & the surrounding cites is nothing like I've ever seen before and I was born in LA. Politics aside,we got each other.

No amount of money could've saved not 1 home. Embers were as big as golf balls. People need to stop thinking that money is the answer to every problem. Climate change is real. We've had no rain since May. Santa Ana winds can not be stopped. Getting out was the only defense. Bass did nothing wrong.

The fires are not in the city of Los Angeles where Bass is the mayor. Pasadena and Malibu are not Los Angeles. They're in Los Angeles County. So no need to say her name. As a matter of fact a fire did break out in LA city and the LA city fire department put it out immediately.

Has nothing to do with reserves. The winds here were crazy. Native LA girl and I've never seen nothing like these winds. The water drops couldn't drop because they were grounded. All the water in the world couldn't stop the winds.

I get what you're saying but no amount of fire fighting could've stopped this fire. When nature decides to happen, nothing can stop it. If the budget wasn't changed the question would be where did all that money go. No water drops due to the winds is why this happened. Never seen anything like this.

I have a friend who lost her house in the Altadena fire that is also burning. She's a high school teacher. The fires are not just in Malibu. And compassion should be for anyone who is suffering. You seem angry. Be very careful of what you put into the world, often it finds its way home.

If you have horses and large animals, you need to have a plan that you've practiced. We did when we lived in the foothills near these fires. Every animal from the cats to the horses had an evacuation plan.
