Heartbroken to share that Victoria A. Brownworth, a titan of LGBTQ journalism passed away. She gave our stories weight, truth, and pride. Her voice was unapologetically queer, feminist, & rooted in community. Rest in power, Victoria. One of the greats.

Revisiting this iconic ACT UP poster from the late '80s-early '90s—"Kissing Doesn’t Kill: Greed and Indifference Do." During the AIDS crisis, our community was marginalized, ignored, and left to fight for our survival. Today, trans people face relentless political attacks and attempts at erasure.

ACT UP poster from 1989 —"Kissing Doesn’t Kill: Greed and Indifference Do." Featuring three couples kissing — an interracial couple kissing, two men kissing and two lesbians kissing.

24-0 at Halftime. Eagles are dominating. Chiefs better call Taylor to the field to save them. Ouch!

As threats to Black History Month loom, amplifying Black stories is vital. Sharing this '93 Deneuve (now Curve) cover of Linda Villarosa. Her work as Essence editor inspired me to start Curve. Her writing continues to uplift & empower. Thank you, Linda! 🖤 #BlackVisibilityMonth @curvemag.bsky.social

This is my friend, Emily Shilling, one of the highest-ranking transgender individuals in the military, with over 19 years of dedicated service to our country. Despite her incredible dedication, Trump is expected to sign an executive order banning her and all other trans people from the military.

💜 Trans rights are human rights. No exceptions! The anti-trans legislation sweeping our country is gutting. Don't just watch. Silence helps no one. Our trans friends and loved ones need us to show up. To every trans person: You belong here, and I'm in this fight with you for the long haul.
