I personally think Joe Biden is great and a superb democrat. I do however worry for the lack of talent that surrounds him.

Just sticking to my values. Unity over division, that is why I haven’t ridiculed or belittled you, or referred to you as stupid. I don’t know you, I don’t know your reasons all I know is we can’t continue this division we have.

You do realise we were already heading or if not in an authoritarian movement, take Canada for example. That is passive authoritarianism, the only difference between that and fascism, is really physical violence.

Maybe we will revisit this in time. But right now you’re entrenched in a single narrative. Running away from something and pre-judging what something is, isn’t useful for collective progress.

If you guys are unable to have a reasonable conversation, how can we honestly move forward. You think echo chambers are going to get us there? You and I are not that different, but you’ve been led to believe a narrow viewpoint, that can’t grow. We call this, a fixed mindset.

Fella, you’re arguing with yourself here. I’m not as emotionally invested in this conversation as you, and I’ve hardly been contrary. I’ve simply engaged in a reasonable conversation, and you’ve got your heckles up about moot points, without engaging in the debate. This is why Trump one.

Honestly, if you mistake asking questions for gaslighting. You are going to struggle to operate in any world.

The reality being this what is being spoken about isn’t an exact science, and for the most part the boots would be largely dry. Up until a point where they are not.

Bet you wish you had that foreign policy for your own country. Ha ha. Your arrogance is unbelievable. And you persist to complain about what you have.

It doesn’t kick start or induce a sense whereby the person should strive for more in their role and earn more. It encourages ‘holding back’ and let life happen to you approach. ——- For example I moved locations when I had little and now I earn 3 times as much as before, just by refusing to accept

Purchasing the more expensive and durable boots. *we shouldn’t go to economics to test inflation/ CPI/ RPI and increase in wages as there are two many variables —— From a non mathematical point of view, this is arguably saying the person will be on $34 for the rest of their life…

Francis Wallingham @franciswallingham.bsky.social · 15/12/2024
$20 per year, this means that the worst case scenario is that at the 2.5 years point, they would be able to buy a $50 shoes if they were able to save for the high quality boots. Obviously this would be 1.25years in the least case. Therefore, for a period of saving/ savings you could end up

First and foremost we’d want to check the data, ie does the person only earn $34, what are there expenses, what shoes/ boots are available to them So if we were to just look at this mathematically, the person on $34 spending $10 per season means it costs $40 per year, or if it were two seasons…

I mean Charles Taylor of Liberia is a really good example of this…

Francis Wallingham @franciswallingham.bsky.social · 15/12/2024
I mean this is literally what happens with all governments. The whole liberal movement has gone over liberal to the point where those who were once classed as liberals, now find themselves being called racists, nazi’s and much else without the appropriate realisation of what is based.

Isn’t my platform, what on Earth does that mean? Provoking conversation, is that really where you have narrowed yourself too, to think that this is the way forward for us as humans?

And that is exactly your problem Hiel. Your psychology is that you think you run the world, and every other person who isn’t American is some how, stupid, not worthy of comment or download their opinions. Incredible arrogance.

It’s fascinating to witness you, the Americans, talk with any sort of authority on what it’s like to be under Nazi rule. You’ve had one of the most stable democracies in the past 200 years. Yet you complain as if the world is going to end. Mind boggling.

What good has actually come from this in terms of tangible economic, social and educational benefit. It has merely advanced a political movement… and that is about it.

As a non-American, you people haven’t a clue about what is truly evil. You are experts at virtue signalling about your woes, but in reality you’ve had one of the most stable democracies for the best part of 200 years. It’s actually insulting to yourselves at how clueless you people really are.

Your perspective appears narrow. Undoubtedly you’re aggrieved, that’s clear, but your perception of everyone else being what you said, is the reason you will lose. It’s nothing to do with weakness.

Yes but who are Antifa fighting against, Neo-Nazis or the Republicans? I agree but how you stand up to anti-black racism isn’t about inciting violence, becoming anti-white or encouraging the theft of someone else’s property because ‘someone’ else claims a stake on it. That will end badly for both.

What you’re referencing and what you think you’re referencing, are completely incomparable. You talk of the English and the Resistance to authoritarian dictatorship - as if this is applicable to a democratic vote. I don’t know what you’ve been subject too from media, but you sound terrified.

The default position. Why do you think this? You’re saying there are only two sides and one must be the extreme of the other?

Look this is what we experienced on X. We aren’t children who just ask questions to questions. Let’s address the original question. Then we can answer your question, but I’m not sure I’m equipped to, because I’m not coming from the perspective you think I am.

Both parties were complicit in the blaming of each other, amplified by social media. Thus dividing society to what we have today.

Unfortunately the Democrats have fallen foul of Poppers paradox of tolerance. They will continue to miss the opportunity for reelection until they change tact.

Honestly you need to go back another 10 years before Hitler actually came to power. Then you will understand how this happened. What you’ve got there is merely a post-remedy. The train is in motion. You and every other democrat need to see how we threw what we had, away.

Man, I’m not trying to say you’re necessarily in the wrong here, I’m just saying as someone who gets it through lived experience. When you pick, it provokes a reaction, from someone. That’s how it all starts…
