Industry is all over the place, but I'd say this is more on this Gayming Awards being half assed and low tier. And we probably have way more interesting and compelling queer games that are more deserving to be on the list than Veilguard and Double Exposure.

Disappointed Fear the Spotlight didn't win anything, it was a solid small indie horror gem with two queer and LiS-coded main characters. But yeah, this award seems like the bottom of the sink for the methodology in which things have been nominated.

Just checked, is Linkedin stated he was part of a writer on contract team from 2018 to September 2023, before he left for ZeniMax and before the first round of Deck Nine layoffs that April, so most of his job on DE must have been done by that point in time.
