On my break and finally getting around to reading the third Rivers of London book. I love falling back into a world you haven’t been in for a while. 🙂

October 1st. 6am. Sunrise season is pretty much over for me now, but there’s still some opportunities to capture a lovely view at this time. 🙂

All of a sudden it's summer again. I'm ready for the cooler, autumn weather, BUT it was a nice run out in the sun this afternoon. Also I'm pleased to report that any pains I had just before and after the half marathon have now gone. 😁

Today’s run - Today was a 6K from Jacob’s to mine. It was very windy but I was quite happy with my pace one week on from the half. I may look at doing a long one again in a couple of weeks. 🙂

I don't want to jump too far ahead (because we still have seasons 25 and 26 to release), but this years WITB Christmas special will see @jeffgoddard.bsky.social and I tackle an absolute favourite... The Daleks! Just a little peek in the future... 🤫

Jacob was reading out car numberplates. Me: "The next door neighbour's number plate looks like it says "worm"" Jacob: "I think I saw the Worm walk past me earlier on." A pause... Me: "Jacob...we cannot call the neighbour "the worm"..." Cue me and him laughing hysterically.

Lovely Dan Pinn joins Jim and I as we head towards the tail end of the 80s now. And we are off with a bang, our first Dalek story since the Jodie era, and a pretty ground breaking one at that. Hang onto your hats (and question mark brollies) as we head to '63 via '88 in Remembrance of the Daleks! 💥

We are back - it's season 25 and we're talking all-things Daleks with the lovely Dan Pinn. This is where my fandom began. It's 1988, I'm six years old and it's parts one and two of Remembrance of the Daleks! @devondan.bsky.social @jeffgoddard.bsky.social anchor.fm/drwho-whats-...

This weekend will see @jeffgoddard.bsky.social and I start our look at seasons 25 and 26, along with some great guests too! And I'd just like to say thank you once again to the wonderful Liam who has provided the art for this next run. You can find him here: www.instagram.com/artfullyliam/

Don't forget to load up your podcast catcher of choice to listen to Daniel, Jeff and I discussing the final two parts of Time-Flight. It's the season finale, but does it go out with a bang or a whimper? And this weekend...we race forward to 1988 and Season 25!

Today's Run - No more training, although I'm going to keep up with long ones when I can. Today was my first run out since the half marathon. My legs were still stiff so I took it slowly. I'll have to go easy over the next few weeks as my left leg is playing up, but it was good to get out again.

Hi. If anyone on sends me a friend request on Facebook can you please DM me on here to let me know. If I get a friend request from, say, Peter Smith I’m not necessarily going to know that you’re actually the famous Queeg the Merciless from BlueSky. 😁 I just have to be sure who I accept over there.

Thanks to everyone who has listened, appeared, commented, liked and shared. In October the podcast will be 3 years old. It’s changed its format a bit (although I do intend to return to the old format at some point!) and I’ve gained a cohost in @jeffgoddard.bsky.social ! We’re not going anywhere. 🙂

💥Humber Coastal Half Marathon! 💥 It was touch and go if I was going to be able to run as my left leg was sore. But I managed it! And amazingly shaved four minutes off last time. 😍 I’m very tired and aching all over now but so pleased. Let’s see if my leg recovers though… 🤞

Its all going on in this one! The effortlessly charming Daniel rejoins Jim and I as we reach the end of our early 80s watch, and jabber away about all things (not) Time Flight. And then Jim and I have a mini rank! How can you afford to miss out!? Hmmmmmmmm?

Well, we're finally here - parts 3 and 4 of Time-Flight - and I'm joined by Daniel and Jeff as we say goodbye to the 5th Doctor (for now) and discuss a lot of stuff that isn't Time-Flight...and a mini-rank! @danielknight73.bsky.social @jeffgoddard.bsky.social anchor.fm/drwho-whats-...

Well this was a fun little story by @unamccormack.bsky.social. It was great to revisit my favourite NuWho Doctor and the Fam - this time in print! I loved the idea of the rock people and I kept visualising a cross between Eldrad from Hand of Fear and the Rock Lords. 🙂

Sometimes I over think things, but tell me this....during the opening titles of Bullseye, when Bully callously and thoughtlessly ejects out of the bus drivers seat, what happens to the coach load of pub goers and darts fans sat on board the coach as it plunges, driver-less, into the abyss?

Half Marathon Training: Run 93 - My last long run before the half next Sunday. I did an 11K with Matt. I finished at 11 and Matt went on to do 18. I managed a slower pace and felt absolutely fine, so I’m confident for my run in a week! 🙂 I’ll do a couple of 5K’s in the week.
