Hey, yes this video walks through how to do it. Basically you set the plausible weeks you might want to use each chip in- it then iterates through all the combinations youtu.be/REoJEED-Qqw?...

There's some chance it could still be rescheduled to fit in that GW, unlikely scenario though

Hey, yes it's a new set of drafts every week The reason for this is that many drafts will end up being incoherent with the actual moves you played before the deadline- so it resets to your base team each GW

Hey, this can happen for 2 reasons: 1- If the tab is changed while the "loading" screen appears. 2- Some browsers/devices seem to trigger this, so trying a different device or browser might solve it If you send me your team ID, I can manually get the data for you too

Ludicrous season, well done Stefan!

Just need to refresh the background sample- the NFO-BRE fixture was likely too tight to the next GW deadline, so the data wasn't there when that GW34 background calcs were made. Will be synced back up following the next GW deadline

Going to respond here too (in case any one here stumbles on the same) Issue relates to an "in conflict" tag and how it interacts with the code. The 1/99 fix should sort this out for you, until I patch in a fix to get it to stop searching for a fixture removed from the "uncertain" pool

This is a game? I thought we've all been engaging in long running self torment

fplreview @fplreview.com · 31/03/2025
Hi Mike, it will depend on the timing For example of you choose GW30 for AM and GW31 + GW32 for WC, there is actually no valid chip plan because the options are in conflict

fplreview @fplreview.com · 31/03/2025
Two addendums now that I think of it: - Bear in mind the found chip plans are based on full knowledge of the fixtures. In reality, there will be some value in holding for announcements- so avoid taking too literally - "Exit Solve" doesn't seem to be linked in, will get to it but not priority atm

I intend to extend the "Chip Plan => Search" capability to regular solves, though I've just completely ran out of steam at this point in the race to be ready for GW30 The next weeks will be aimed at smaller, nagging fixes that are required and also at longer term projects.

Binary solves was a much requested feature over the past month, the concept has been built out from the analytics discord community over the past months- my understanding is that @jonnyc.bsky.social, OG & Joose all contributed to the various elements so huge credit is deserved on their side!

Chip Plan > Search: You can now choose various GWs for as an option per chip. This is a two-stage process, using literal settings (decay=1.01, ftval=0 etc.) to select chip plan and then reverts to user settings to solve for the root move Chip Plan > Fixed: Default use, from main planner page

fplreview @fplreview.com · 31/03/2025
Binary Fixture Solves: Every possible combination of fixture sets is generated (and will update on user input). For each fixture set, EV is recalculated for each binary schedule and solved individually. (% weights in tables based on schedule likelihoods)

One more big addition to the fplreview.com toolset... - "Binary Fixture Solves" integrated into the linear optimiser - Enabled "Chip Plan => Search" with binary solves This allows users to solve for all possible fixture permutations and gain insight for transfer & chip planning Details below,

It was changed as the feedback found the numerical input a bit unintuitive, but I can see where you coming from it is nice to have that extra granularity I think the best solution for all will be an annotated slider, to give full control and intuition for input

fplreview @fplreview.com · 13/03/2025
Just updated that now btw, should be settable up to 1.05

Ah, thanks for letting me know that- I'll update that in the morning to let the setting go to 1.01/1.02

I would have liked to make these additions earlier, AM was a bit of a bomb going off alongside running into extra tasks with the day-job & some non-work stuff too which made the past months a bit relentless Fortunately we're back to normality now, and there's plenty of ideas and upgrades to come!
040
fplreview @fplreview.com · 12/03/2025
Downloadable Results Downloadable results are a small addition, but beats opening up the snipping tool- I think it would be nice if it printed the solver settings used too to add that bit more context so that can be something for the future (applies to both solvers)

fplreview @fplreview.com · 12/03/2025
Live Output + Exit This addition really helps with running a few solve lines, as it was a bit frustrating waiting for longer solves with no info. The same goes for sensitivity analysis, as the lack of updates with the non-linear Transfer Solver can leave you wondering if something has gone wrong
110
fplreview @fplreview.com · 12/03/2025
Solver Setting Interface This upgrade should make working with the settings a bit more usable as they were a bit cramped as it was. Equally, the revamp has also made it easier to add settings in future and I suspect they'll be categorised into groups in the future. (applies to both solvers)
210
fplreview @fplreview.com · 12/03/2025
Single Solve Chip Plans Previously solves were segmented by chip plan, so for example WC32 & FH34 would be Solve 1: GW29-31 Solve 2 (WC): GW32-38 (exc. GW34) Solve 3 (FH): GW34 Now rather than having 3 solves, as in the Transfer Solver, there is just 1 solve required that will cover it all.
110
fplreview @fplreview.com · 12/03/2025
Sensitivity Analysis Effectively this is creating a number of simulated alternative worlds with some random noise injected. The noise can be controlled for each xMins, player & team ratings and solver settings. This solves the top line for each world first, before moving onto the next etc.

fplreview @fplreview.com · 12/03/2025
A few upgrades to the sites linear optimisation tool in advance of GW29 - Sensitivity Analysis added! - Chip plans now solved at once, rather than sequentially - Solver setting interface updated - Live output + ability to exit solves early added - Results now downloadable as a .jpg Details below

fplreview @fplreview.com · 28/02/2025
Have it added in now, with a refresh of likelihoods based on latest market data

Yes, the fixture announcement will be reflected on-site in ~40 mins

I wonder if we'll get refs next season. Points for yellow and red cards but a penalty for successful VAR interventions

Looking forward to working on some new projects now that this is largely clear!

fplreview @fplreview.com · 04/02/2025
There are now just a couple of relatively minor items left on the snag list, - Re-enabling "evaluations" within Sensitivity Analysis - Doppelganger & Elite Correl/Diff metrics need AM factored - Chip Timing tool needs to properly consider continuation of an existing AM activation
150
fplreview @fplreview.com · 04/02/2025
Into the final leg of AM integration, the following steps are complete - Season Review now functions with the chip - Planner now handles the api change when AM is previously activated - Sync team works with AM (also caught a legacy issue syncing with existing high price drops) - Elite1000 data page

fplreview @fplreview.com · 31/01/2025
Some other general notes, - DGW25 has been updated following the latest news - WC Sensitivity Analysis is fixed following a bug a few days ago - Thanks to all using to the sites suggestion box, has been really helpful for seeing what users view as priority and will influence direction!

fplreview @fplreview.com · 31/01/2025
A few final additions to the planner toolset for the AM chip - Planned Moves now function with AM, the solver will plan around your choices - Full video guide on using AM has been created => youtu.be/7aYN9nAbT1M The Season Review tool will probably be down for 3-5 days following the GW24 deadline

A few pre-deadline notes for users, - Sensitivity Analysis came back mid-week - You exclude a certain AM in the "Exclude Players" section of the solver (see screenshot) - Added in % for a few the GW34 games that could go to GW33 Will see if I can the Planned Moves to work with AM during the week

fplreview @fplreview.com · 16/01/2025
Overall it's a huge relief to have this all ready in time for GW24. A few outside working hours projects managed to materialise during this period so it hasn't been a sleep filled 5 weeks, but very satisfying to complete A huge thank you to the userbase whose support makes this project possible!

fplreview @fplreview.com · 16/01/2025
- Sensitivity Analysis will be back over the weekend - There will be some work required to get it working with syncing live teams with FPL and the Season Review, but not a major deal. - Development will continue, a mix between suggestion box ideas and stuff I want to add to linear

Step 5 of 5 complete✅ The Chip Timing function now has the Assistant Manager chip integrated. This is the last of the 5 milestones, though there are still a few bits and pieces to tidy up I'd suggest considering risk preferences when timing chips, as there will be big swings based on activation

Hey Jack, it should be back now thanks for flagging the issue to me👍

fplreview @fplreview.com · 14/01/2025
Hey, should be back now apologies for the outage
010
fplreview @fplreview.com · 13/01/2025
Other notes: - Solve speed seems to be about the same - Small patch applied which will improve solver performance - If you come across a bug it would be great if you can reach out via email. I test as much as I can, but not quite like the userbase putting it through its paces

fplreview @fplreview.com · 13/01/2025
Step 4 of 5 complete✅ The Transfer Solver now handles the Assistant Manager chip! This was the biggest hurdle, so it's great to have it done even if it's a few days later than initially targeted. On the flip side, I'm expecting Sensitivity & Chip Analysis to be back sooner than originally planned

Currently 56.2% of the live top 1000 have used a chip other than WC1 That jumps up to 88% for the top 100. Still early days for EV ranks!

fplreview @fplreview.com · 02/01/2025
From what I understand it is likely to be the second half of the month until we know. Current consensus is that it's very much up in the air dependent on other tournaments

I've got it running with version 1.9.0 which was released just before Christmas. The fix (github.com/ERGO-Code/Hi...) for that issue was closed just after the release of 1.8.1, so this *should* be the first fixed release I can say I didn't run into the issue in testing anyway

Fix 1954 by fwesselm · Pull Request #2066 · ERGO-Code/HiGHS
This PR fixes #1954: Bound types of general-integer variables from variable bound constraints may have been overwritten, e.g. a variable upper bound of the form x <= b*y + c where x is NOT a co...

The Transfer Solver itself is the next step, and following that the add-ons (Sensitivity Analysis/Chip Planning) associated with it Applying this to the non-linear solver is definitely the greater challenge, but have a few ideas to throw at it
