I personally don’t think it’s anywhere close to the sporting scandal Juventus had. The rules they circumvented were ridiculous to begin with. They were the rules, so they deserve to be punished, but I don’t think it’s the sole reason they achieved everything they did.

My unfavourable opinion is that it is a bit overblown. I would be fine with banning the individuals responsible from football, giving a massive fine and a points deduction and moving on.

4.5m, good fixtures, seems nailed. Solid option if you need to make a defender transfer.

I got the explanation (mostly) but the charts axis etc. are beyond me. Haha.

I just mean he kept shitting points all season without great underlying data.

Fair enough. I would have said Guehi vibes, which make him equally good! Haha

Looks good. I think Silva/Muharemovic are as good as Tarko for 1m less, but not sure where else to spend the money.

I would feel better about it if it didn’t mean leaving Gross on the bench last week 😅

fpl-saint.bsky.social @fpl-saint.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Sold last week for Barry. Once I see him get good minutes I’ll bring him back in for Wissa.

Bruno, Haaland, Saka, and Palmer are all pretty even in my mind this week.

fpl-saint.bsky.social @fpl-saint.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I think I would go with Bruno, if I had him.

GW6 bus team. It’s a very tough captain choice this week. Not sure who I would pick even if I was on free hit. Who is everyone going with? #fpl

This whole team looks very well balanced.

I still think club seasons should be shorter and all international games should be played in the summer. Nations league or qualifiers all together in one tournament would be more interesting, and we wouldn’t have to deal with dud international breaks killing all momentum for club football.

Retroactively handing out titles just undermines the whole competition in my opinion… I rated what Rooney said about not wanting titles for seasons they didn’t deserve them (when they came second to City).

My initial reaction was most players were too cheap. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with pricing or not, but there seems to be more variety this year which I’m a big fan of 🤷‍♂️

011

fpl-saint.bsky.social @fpl-saint.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Haha, fair enough. I think GKs should have been priced better (the 4.5s seem pretty random). Defenders seem pretty good. Full backs definitely back in the conversation and not a lot of stand outs. Mids are all 0.5-1.0m too cheap. Forwards generally good, but JP should have been 8.5m.

fpl-saint.bsky.social @fpl-saint.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I think the point stands. You can then pick any other players you want, so it comes down to who you think will score the most points, not who you can afford. Right now at least, that is a hard question to answer so opens up a lot of variety.

010

fpl-saint.bsky.social @fpl-saint.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

My personal shift on this is that the pricing requires a few key decisions on structure (basically who are you picking from Haaland/Bruno/Palmer/Saka/Gabriel). Beyond that, you can get anyone, so it comes down to views on players rather than being determined by price.

WestWorld season 1 and 2 were up there with favourite TV shows ever, then it fell off an absolute cliff.

Gabriel Tzolis? One for the desperate housewives fans 🤣

GW6 bus team. I think it looks fine, so will try my best to roll to 3 FTs unless i get injuries. Will sell either Barry or Wissa in GW7 for JP if he’s back. Time to check out for a few weeks. ✌️ #fpl

54 points. Somewhere around 450k overall. <Insert joke about 0 pointers and autosubs> Thank you to the Leeds boys for bagging the clean sheet this week 🙏 Enjoy the break everyone! #fpl

Fair play Leno. I thought he was washed, but having a very decent game.

54 points all out. Let’s end the GW there. No need for any additional matches. #fpl

Liverpool looking a lot more solid at the back the last couple. Jacquet a very interesting option if it continues. #fpl

Yeah, to be fair I meant chasing very short term fixtures (1-2 weeks) rarely works.

020

fpl-saint.bsky.social @fpl-saint.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Again and again I am reminded that chasing fixtures rarely works out, but again and again, I think this time will be different. The ability to do nothing and ignore the FOMO is what sets the great FPL managers apart. Will I ever learn? Probably not. Because do things is more fun at the time. #fpl
