Goodbye... Means nothing but can't go into FPL weekends hoping for points from the light blues, just doesn't feel good. #FPL

Good FH week thanks to Trafford, Tarko, Barry and Cherki mainly. Have a good rest over the IB everyone before the chaos resumes. We all need it after what has been a weird and insane start to the season all round. #FPL

After many ponderings, I've settled on this lot. Enjoy the final flurry for FPL everyone, until we hit the IB doldrums again. #FPL

When you FH, you may as well mix it up a bit... Final FH team for GW5 barring injury news/updates. No Haaland, captain Saka. Stach for some high floor coverage if anyone misses out completely. #FPL

The troops for next week... Already done Tarko in for the upcoming fixtures as had 0.5 ITB and he's rising tonight. Aim to roll the other FT, but really not enjoying Szobo at all and the temptation is to move him on as well. Wissa stays for fixtures and then to two up front after that. #FPL

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Was going to roll to 3 FT's but wanted to join the Rogers party... Rogers in and rolling the other FT. Thomas was an option ahead of Gvardiol, but anything could happen in that United game, so he keeps his spot. #FPL

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Some thoughts... Stuck between Haaland vs United's poor defence and JP against "High XGC Hull"... I also have 2 FT's so could bring in Rogers fairly easily to have triple Chelsea attack. At the moment I'm leaning towards Haaland captain and rolling to 3 FT's... It's a conundrum. #FPL

The troops for GW4... Decent fixtures all round so looking to roll to 3FT's. I like Haaland against United for captaincy at the moment. #FPL

This is me for GW3... rolling the transfer and TC Haaland. Hoping Bruno isn't on crack this week again. #FPL

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

106 without Bruno and all outfield players returning. Happy enough with the WC and it sets me up for a TC on Haaland in GW3. A top 10 all time points scoring madness from Bruno, but that's FPL... it does mean so may more will keep him now which splits the field which is good for the game. #FPL

WC 2 going well so far for Saffer FC. Plan is TC Haaland in 3 where many can't as WC's FH's flying around. Then roll some transfers. Sure, Bruno could haul but not too stressed about that as happy with the setup for the next while. FH when necessary. #FPL #FPLCommunity

Bye bye to the most annoying chip in FPL... 16 points and the thing I wanted the most was not to overprice my bench moving forwards. They will all stay rooted right where they are going forwards, barring injuries to my main XI. #FPL

Saffer FC go into the new season hoping for the best... May move the bench slots around depending on pressers etc. but this is going to be pretty much it. I pray for us all. #FPL

Ok... so zoning in on this after taking some time to think through everything. Hopefully I can get away with not having to WC early with decent bench options. Haaland is obviously the one that can give this team a good ramming but let's see how we go. #FPL

For me, the question that I'm mulling over is Haaland vs Bruno. I don't feel I want to start with both. Bruno holds his own vs The Robot on Solio although tracking behind. I'm leaning towards a Bruno (c) and Isak double up to see if they can match or at least get close to Haaland. #FPL

Haaland resumes training... not having him at the moment feels a bit dumb but will see how the week pans out. Have move Mbuemo on for Semenyo but otherwise BB1 draft feels settled. #FPL

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Updated BB GW1. Going double Arsenal defence feels like less exposure if they aren't quite up to the pace of last year early doors. Bench has been significantly upgraded so shouldn't have to make a transfer in theory for a few GW's at least. #FPL

150

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

That looks good and I was actually trying to figure out what I'm gaining with having no Haaland at the moment for BB1... triple Arsenal defence is one and Gibbs White and Wirtz in midfield but don't even think that's enough if Haaland goes on a bender. Haaland is going to go down to the wire 4 me.

010

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

With keeping with my GW1 BB tradition which is unfortunately a bit mainstream this season, this is sort of where I am at the moment. Backing Ipswich to be up for it at home first game of the season. Could also downgrade Stach but like him as an option. Long way to go still though. #FPL

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Obligatory 1st draft... ignore the bench as they are just place holders for some tasty cheapies... I usually bench boost GW1 but will be very very tough this year. That's sort of a challenge though right? Also want to find last years points adjusted for the recoveries now gone for defconnners.

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

101 all out but Saka the hero. Thanks everyone for the good vibes here on Bluesky. What a great fantasy experience that was. Over and out.

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

What a great way to end the world cup fantasy game with a bit of a punt at Saka captain going into orbit with 42 points. Who cares how tomorrow's game goes fantasy wise after that. What an awesome game it's been and bring on four years time.

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

There is so much FPL could add to the game... Big Chances created is a great one. Rather than a stupid bonus points system that is so subjective and often changes last minute.

190

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

And everyone sticks on captaincy after this... Now it's up to what the rest of the squad can do.

May they go forth and make points.

020

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Think I'm going to stick on Tillman.. pity about his yellow card or else would have been more. With only Messi and triple Argentina defence to go I think it's the right call? Not having Kane or Haaland has been painful...

220

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Mmm... Mbappe on 9... That's a tough one to call. Tempted to go for more but these games will be tighter.

210

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

4 transfers made... Let's go! Also, remember we can't roll transfers in this game like FPL. Had to double check that one. Clean Sheet Shield activated...say that ten times fast.

140

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

We really need more striker spots... Crazy how well the forwards are doing. Now to figure out what transfers to make before tonight. Any feelings around the best time to use that clean sheet chip?

020

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

27 big ones from my American duo last night with a scouting bonus sprinkled in. Will let tonight's games go and then decide who gets axed for my three bench boys. Enjoying this format so much.

270

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Flipping Digne trolling me again... but to be fair he shored that defence right up. May have to move Hernandez on next round as now a major rotation risk depending on tactics. Happy with Rangel as backed that Mexico home fortress. Mbappe delivers again but most people have him anyway.

130

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Captained the wrong Belgian... fml. Was a tight call between them. 12 is now a tough captaincy number with Kane and Messi to come who could both easily destroy it.

Kevin Rose @fpl-saffer.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Surely I can't stick on 8 for captain... will be pissed if I get less though. lol.

Decent RD2 so far and looking to kick on with the guys to come. Max captain a bit pointless with the first guy I captained banging, but let's hope it moves to someone else before the end of the GW.
