It's funny how a chilly morning walk can remind me of being 6 or 7 and walking to my neighborhood parochial school, daydreaming of a bubble that would carry me to school so I didn't have to worry about bullies.

Our tuxedo Porcini normally talks gently to our robot vacuum when it's finished but today he walked past as it was starting and cleaning itself and said a few things

finally replaced the outside lamp post head at the very very back of the yard. Not sure how useful it is so far back there but it works now!

This is what happens when someone grows up in Kansas City with a dad from the Missouri Ozarks and mom from Jacksonville. I did live in NYC for 3 years but that mostly intensified things. Roly-poly, crawdad, & picahn gave me away. As an adult, these words are not common so you may not hear it
