Last week, I spoke with trainers and trainees at the Elgin Conservation Centre about the specialist heritage skills they are developing - from traditional masonry to conservation craftsmanship - and saw how this work is helping to safeguard Scotland’s historic environment for future generations.

It was great to meet Jen Hardy MBE, founder of Cancer Card, and her colleague Lorraine Dallas in Parliament last week. Founded five years ago by Jen during her own journey with stage 4 cancer, Cancer Card grew from her deep understanding of just how overwhelming navigating cancer care can be.
