Really enjoying Silent Hill f so far! I've been streaming it with the bestie @artofanodyne.bsky.social , and we just got to the part with the rice fields, and BOY WAS I NOT READY for something to hit almost all my anxiety buttons at once. It's been a while since a game had me rattled!

IT IS TIME TO SCREAM ABOUT MY BOY Tea did such an INCREDIBLE job! The warm colors, the soft expressions, the wrinkles in the clothes, Tara in the back, THEIR HANDS... I love it so much! Thank you for painting them, and thanks Ano for commissioning this piece! 🥹 #BG3 #OCs #LizardWizard #Savvadorio

Sorry everyone who plays #MonsterHunter with me, because I finally found an incredible modder to port my boy's hair from World to Wilds, and LOOK AT MY BOY I WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT HIM He is PERFECT and if Capcom won't bring my boy's specific pomp back, I must take matters into my own hands. #Pom

It's Pom! He's a man with a fluffy, mulberry pompadour, round sunglasses, tanned skin, and a scruffy chinstrap for facial hair. He's looking off to the right with a somewhat pensive expression.

Pom again, but this time, he's aiming his slinger - a slingshot/grappling hook weapon attached to his left arm - at the camera. His hair is fluffy and big and I love it.

Pom and his big bird mount, Pretty Boy! Pretty Boy is a lovely lilac Seikret, and he's looking to steal Pom's hunting journal. Pom is smiling, keeping it away from him. His hair is very fluffy.

Pom a fourth time, but now he's smiling gently at the camera in a blue-tinted area. You can see his eyes slightly through his glasses, and you'll never guess what I think about his hair.

That's right! It's fluffy and perfect. I missed this hairstyle so much.

PSA: 1. If you are not silly, it is vital you become silly 2. If you are silly, you must stay silly 2. If you used to be silly but have stopped, you must make all efforts to return to silliness

I always love the question of what species of monster my #MonsterHunter OC would be, because the answer is so painfully obvious. (And yes, this exercise was just an excuse to design a subspecies of Qurupeco based on #Pom. :> ) #art

A design for a subspecies of a bird-like creature, named the Sweetheart Qurupeco. Its colors are based on my Monster Hunter OC, Pom, and his Palico, Purl - lots of shades of purple, pink, and mulberry. The Qurupeco features Pom's signature pompadour atop his head; along his back are sparkly blue feathers like the shiny scales of Pom's Tzitzi-Ya-Ku coat. Pom's vibrant, orange eyes feature, and there is plumage on his chest in the shape of a heart.

📌 Hello, I am Anodyne! I'm an illustrator and designer with a passion for creatures of all sorts and video games. 🖌️ You can find my work in my #art tag or custom feed (which you can pin for updates!): bsky.app/profile/arto...

Illustration of the Astera Canteen from Monster Hunter World. It is a primitive but impressive restaurant with large stone tables and ovens in the shape of simplified cat heads. Fruits and fish hang from the netting above the ovens, and large cuts of meat are cooking within the central oven. In the front of the piece is the Meowscular Chef and his assistant chef Felynes, all posing proudly in front of a prepared feast. The entire illustration is drawn in earthy hues with hatching and crosshatching for texture.

Digital illustration of a hunter and their mount from Monster Hunter Wilds. The hunter is an older woman with a bulky, powerful build and grey hair; she is in an upright riding position, grabbing the reins and turning to look at the viewer. Her mount is a bipedal monster that resembles a large dromaeosaur, with a stubby beak, horns, winged forearms, and vibrant blue and cyan feathers with orange and cream accents.

An illustration of Oryx, the Taken King, a character from the Destiny series. He performing his doxology attack, with blinding light shining from his chest and three eyes. The illustration is painted with bold, textured strokes to emphasize the power and energy bursting forth from him.

A colored illustration of two Warframes (which resemble biomechanical humanoids) sitting together. The Nidus has their arms wrapped around the Limbo's waist, embracing them closely, and the Limbo is leaning back into them.

WIP, but #Pom and Purl are having a great time training their Seikret, Pretty Boy. :> Super excited for MHWilds! #art #ocs

A crop of a WIP featuring a man with a mulberry pompadour (Pom) and his pink, catlike Palico (Purl) riding a colorful bird monster (Pretty Boy). Purl and Pom look shocked and alarmed, while Pretty Boy has not a thought going on in his head.

Reposting for my #art tag! This was done for a #MonsterHunter collaboration with a kart-racer theme. When the vision of an Anjanath driving with his feet floated before my eyes, I knew I had to make it reality. I'm actually super proud of the Kulu-Ya-Kruiser, too!

My entry into a kart-racer-themed Monster Hunter collab: it's Anjanath in the Kulu-Ya-Kruiser! This pink, fire-breathing, Tyrannosaurus-esque monster is one of my favorites, and I just really wanted to draw a car themed around Kulu-Ya-Ku, who is just a big chicken. Fun details include the spikes down the center, Kulu's eyes for the headlights, and egg-shaped blinkers.

Bestie @artofanodyne.bsky.social and I have been going through Persona 3 Reload, and let's just say that any game that has a literal dog as part of the main cast is a win in my book. I drew her some very good boys! #art

Persona 3 characters Makoto Yuki (a teenager) and Koromaru (a dog) listen to music together via Makoto's headphones. Koromaru looks particularly delighted, his tail wagging wildly.

The true meaning of "The Great Despair," and the legit worst part of #Warframe 1999: when you hit Best Friends with everyone, and the daily messages stop coming. :( I'm begging you, DE: don't punish me for doing bounties. T_T @foxsyn.bsky.social suggested this, and it is PAINFULLY ACCURATE. #art

A man known as the Drifter sits in his totally rad 90's outfit in front of an old CRT monitor. He's leaning on one hand, looking glum about whatever he's seeing on the illuminated screen. The lyrics to On-lyne's "The Great Despair" are written around the illustration:

"This obsession has turned into The Great Despair"

We see the screen now: it's a desktop with the colorful, Duviri sky over a lush, green field. There's a friend list for a chat program on the left side of the screen. The lyrics continue:

"I keep thinking I see you"

The contact list is closer now - every single person on it is listed as offline, as they have been since hitting the rank of Best Friend. There's a talk bubble to the side that has a chibi version of the Drifter's face with a recreation of a crying emoticon (specifically ╥﹏╥). He is truly suffering. The lyrics don't help him.

"And there's nobody there..."

I should draw my dumb lizard Tav from #BaldursGate3 more often, but this doodle will do for now! This would 100% be Savvadorio if he saw a boob because lizards do not have them, and if you ask him, boobs are mysterious & magical. Clearly, no one should ever ask his opinion on anything. #art #ocs

A doodle of a dragonborn from the video game Baldur's Gate 3. It's just his head, his eyes wide open and glistening with wonder, his ears pricked with interest, sparkles aglow around him as he exclaims, "Wow, boobies!" like the adult he is.

The plot of #Warframe 1999, according to me.

A lady wearing an elaborate helmet that covers her eyes stands before a scruffy man with a shoulder cape. She's holding a ringing phone of some sort. This is the Lotus from the video game, Warframe.

Lotus: My champion, I need you to go back in time to stop the Indifference, for it calls to me from across the Void.

The scruffy man turns the other way as he is addressed by a teenager who looks a lot like him. The teen has some voidy veins that crawl up his jawline. This is the Operator.

Operator: Hey Drifter, we need you to go back in time to stop Albrecht Entrati, since the Man in the Wall is watching my every move.

The scruffy man (the Drifter) stands in silence, contemplating what he really wants to do when he goes back in time.

I promise this all makes sense in context.

Drifter: I'm gonna go back in time and find Loid a new boyfriend.

Back to my niche project: a height chart of the #OCs in our #MonsterHunter creatives server. I touched up Eahon to match the others and added big boy Bosco on the right. Quill remains the shortest for now, but he won't be for long. ;) #MHart

A line of hunters from the Monster Hunter series all standing in a row, decked out in their armor. From left to right: Talini, Katts, Eahon, Quill, Pom, and Bosco. Quill in particular looks disgruntled at being the shortest, with Pom leaning on him.

This episode of True Tales from #MonsterHunter features Talini showing #Pom just how strong the Strongarm Stance is. Talini belongs to the incredible @artofanodyne.bsky.social, as always! #ocs #art (I totally didn't forget my art tag the first time I posted this, whoops.)

A man with a pompador stands in the foreground, shouting a warning his friend who stands in the background, a giant sword in her hands at the ready. Above them, a wyvern flies in, ready to attack.

Pom (foreground): Talini! Watch out for that Rathalos!

Talini (background): Don't sweat it, Pom! check this out!

The wyvern shoots a breath of destructive fire directly at Talini, darkening the entire scene, save for the bright explosion of the flame. Talini is completely obscured by the smoke cloud, while Pom looks utterly horrified.

The wyvern flies away from the scene, leaving Talini - now blackened to a crisp - standing proudly, smiling and smoldering. She's still in the same pose, her sword up, though now entirely in silhouette, save for her grin and eyes.

Talini: See? I'm totally fine!

Pom, looking uncertain: ... Yeah, sure.

Going to slowly start reuploading things with hashtags so folks can click the links on my profile to quickly find them! I do love me some organization. Let's start with some art from a couple of years ago of my MonHun lad, Pom, and his palico, Purl! :> #art #monsterhunter #pom

A man with a fluffy, mulberry pompadour poses stylishly with an oversized, stringed instrument known as a hunting horn. Beside him is a pink, anthropomorphic cat known as a felyne. These are Pom and Purl, my Monster Hunter characters. Expect a lot of them on this account.
