I also just don't really feel well today I haven't been taking care of myself and neither have my parents I think I only had like.. a sandwich yesterday. Then I slept the whole day. And my grandma brought up my medicine this morning I look like a mess but I don't think she was concerned at all

It's labor day Honestly don't even know what it's about I had to look it up I would still rather be at school as weird as that is my teacher is nice and plays movies and likes my art more than I've seen anyone like my art

Was gonna do an art tonight but I realized school tomorrow and it's probably better to sleep I'll get the art done after school

I never really brought this up before I think, but I'm working with a new composer on my film project and they've already made two tracks and said they'd start scoring so I'm excited for that their stuff is good

I also have animation to do And I'm thinking about maybe possibly showing my teacher my film stuff he said his other students show him work all the time and he seems professional I could maybe get some good feedback from him Maybe after I finish this first assignment tho

I guess I just didn't feel like there was a way to bring it up I got started on the assignment which is supposed to be re-imagining a fairytale then doing board thumbnails for it At the end of the class he read what I wrote and said it was good so Gonna do the thumbnails this week I guess

The lecture basically went over things I already knew And he talked about later animation classes, and the capstone film.. and the studio I really wanted to tell him, well, I'm already working on my film.. and I've storyboarded before, and already worked at the studio But uh, he talks so much

But yea, I was the only one that showed up. The class went pretty regularly though, and my teacher seems pretty cool and open Today was basically just a lecture on animation in general.. I get the impression this is supposed to be like a beginner class

Good start at school today I was the only student actually there. My teacher actually let me know, they have some new system? So the class was actually supposed to be 13 ppl, but because of some like thing I dunno this class is the only one on the new system right now and it's been knocked to 3

The class is also small af, I can see my classmates online and there are just two At least it's an animation centric class? I think this is the first class I got where it's just animators and not the other art major students at my school

Tomorrow I start school again It's supposed to be some story class, but instead of getting right into like. Storyboards and stuff more of this class is writing and creating characters from what I saw and one assignment for board thumbnails

I don't really feel great today for reasons I don't wanna get into I'm in pain and don't feel like I can be out of bed Normally I'd just put a show on at this point but my new headphones don't even work with my phone so :/

I didn't mention, part of why I didn't do the homework is because I impulsively made a storyboard animatic this week, and drew a lot last week, I've also been reading. I has plenty of time to otherwise do it but I didn't :/

Next week I'm free though, my next college class won't be for a week. So I should actually have time to do the animation homework

So it turns out the shelf was the final I just got confused by the online classroom having two weeks left on it, since everything is divided by weeks, but technically both those assignments were for this week, pretty confusing but that's how it was set up

I checked my email and I was removed from the other project I was doing art on. I could make excuses. The director canceled a meeting on one of the days I usually join. And I was kicked off the project on a day I don't attend meetings. The director knows what days I attend because I let them know

I finished the shelf thing today for my stupid class I have working with wood so much, hate hate hate it!!! I don't even feel good about making a shelf, because I didn't want to make one, i want to animate for crying out loud

I was told to contact one of the tutors at the school but I'm pretty sure that's their copy pasted response and I couldn't find any wood shop tutors just looking I think my only option now is to try the quizzes again and hope that if I do pass them I don't horribly mess up using the tools

Blehh my advisor says there's no alternative to woodshop so I can't drop the 3d design class that is making me do this stupid school can't even make me take blender or some digital 3d thing in its place

I probably should speak to one of my school advisors abt it. I mean, it's not unreasonable to not wanna take this class when I'm only here for animation right. I'm getting more out of the online animation class I'm taking outside of school then what I'm getting at school right now.

I'm fed up with this class There's three quizzes that I have to get an 80% on and if I am not like a complete expert on every machine in the wood shop I can't use them I'm thinking about withdrawaling the class, cuz I don't even care about woodshop, but this is required for my 2d animation degree

Ok maybe I didn't need to worry My director isn't a jerk and doesn't care that I didn't have anything for the meeting He hasn't even pointed out I'm behind on the schedule. Maybe it's fine because everyone else is still doing pre production stuff right now? I dunno
