Our cozy game's 4th romancable character Leyli: A demon earning her masters in magical studies. She also has a severe distaste for magic. Unfortunately, as the owner of a magical cafe, that distaste is aimed at you... Can you find a way to get along? #indiedev #cozygames

Our cozy game's 3rd romancable character: Nox A musician who's been forced to work a variety of part time jobs to make rent. Also they can read minds. Unfortunately they can't turn it off... They heard you're a witch. Maybe you'll be able to help them with their problem? #indiedev #cozygames

In a fever state of 10pm motivation, our cozy game now has dialogue sounds that somewhat adhere to what is being said. Unfortunately this was not what I was supposed to be adding to the game, so despite everything I still have a busy week ahead. #gamedev #indiedev

You won't just meet humans working at your witch cafe. Here's Stella / Bubbles, our cozy game's second romancable character. In highschool when Bubbles morphed into an angel, her friends left her. Cel and you stayed. Then you moved away. What happens now that you're back? #indiedev #cozygames

Updating the mockups for our cozy game's coffee brewing scene! It felt a bit too empty before, does this look any better? (Mockup in grayscale) #indiedev #cozygames

Running a magical cafe may just lead to some romance as well ✨️ Here's Cel, our cozy game's first romancable character An artist with the ability to speak to animals and spirits. You had a falling out after high school, will you be able to restore your friendship? Maybe more? #indiedev #cozygames

Nothing hurts more than trying to solve a bug for 3 hours, where button hold interactions only fire the first time, only to find the reason why is because your mouse is broken. Curious what other people's dumb game bug reasons they've encountered lately were? #gamedev #indiedev

The best thing about being an indie dev is deciding to work on art for a day, while pretending the code collapsing down around itself isn't real for a little bit. Surely I wont regret this tomorrow.

Part of the reason I'm here is to show off my game, sure but the other secret selfish reason is I want to see all the cool games other indies are working on. Show me what you're working on no matter how polished it is! I want to see it. #indiedev

I've made save systems before, making a save system for a decorating game couldn't be that bad: And now I'm trying to serialize dynamic meshes with custom colors, materials, positions, rotations, and scale... 😭

Top two pet peeves with cozy games that I want to address in the cozy game I'm developing: 1. Can only be hyper positive during dialogues 2. Story feels like an afterthought Help me make my game better! What are your pet peeves when you play a cozy game? #indiedev #cozygames

Expirementing with new mechanics for our cozy witch cafe game. When you're making an ingredient alters the emotions that were put in. So, even if you don't have all the right ingredients you want for your potion, you can still manage with a bit of creativity ✨️ #indiedev #cozygames

Tea : breaks down emotion into its component emotions.

Sugar: combines emotions into a compound emotion.

Spices: changes an ingredient into a random ingredient not yet present in the drink.

Espresso: +2 to most prominent emotion

Chocolate: +1 to every emotion in the drink

Ice: invers emotion (happy becomes sad)
Milk: rotates emotions according to the graph.
