This extends beyond kink too. This includes grown as gay men who think saying "ew girl parts" is cute, quirky, or funny when it is, in fact, misogynistic and demeaning.

If you don't like female anatomy it's not cute, funny, or quirky to say "ew lady parts" or something similar. It's a dick thing to do, has negative impacts on people, and is incredibly misogynistic.

Be an adult. State your preference without being crass and rude. "I don't find women sexually attractive" or "vaginas aren't sexually appealing to me" is much more respectful to women as people and humans than "ew girls". Grow up, please.

You are likely to get blocked if you choose to express your sexuality and preferences in a demeaning way. Even even as a joke. Even if we have been friends for years. Don't be misogynistic about it. Period.

We will especially be annoyed if non sexual nudity invokes a comment about sexuality and preferences. Not enough to block. Probably enough to cease contact for a short while. The human body and nudity is not sexual in any way. Don't treat any display of nudity as immediately sexual.

Agree with OP. I really hate the "it was a defining story for me as a child" argument when it comes up re. Rowling.
