Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Made this as a bit to curse my friend talking about Gilded Drake and now I have to share it with all of you. 34411
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I don't like a lot of the new shows but its also the most Star Trek thing for the first or two seasons to be not great while the writers figure out what the show is about. 020
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Its actually funny how people shit talk the new shows when they just start out like "this is nothing like TNG!" as if TOS fans weren't seething mad about how bad TNG was starting out. 160
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Early TNG is ROUGH but its a trip thats worth atleast dipping your toes into. Makes you appreciate how far it comes along when it gets good. If you want I can send you a episode guide to get through the boring S1/2 episodes so its just the noticeably dumb or important ones. 061
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Crazy that Stephanie Meyer just skates by the fact that Jasper was part of the Confederate Army and the South had an army of vampires AND STILL LOST 7403
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Group watching Twilight Eclipse and realising this is Alice and Jasper as a couple. 1526
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I personally play Yugioh but the current format is abysmal to get into right now. If you have a shop near you that plays it, I'd highly recommend Digimon. That has some of the most interesting design choices I've seen in a TCG in a minute. 020
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Thats the struggle of TCGs unfortunately. Most shops only run MtG, sometimes Yugioh and Pokemon depending on the scene, and then one of the Bandai Namco TCGs that they picked (probably One Piece). Anything that isnt those its hard to find a locals scene unless you have a good shop near you. 130
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Ew, I had to defend my boss. I feel gross. I'm gonna go take a lap outside for that one. 3450
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Yeah, there are people getting heated about Wet Link as a talking point, but it largely is people debating the merits of the remake and remakes as a staple of culture. That is by definition discourse. 1471
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I'm gonna be a snooty millennial and say that isnt what flame wars are. Flame wars is an old forum term for fights in threads started over nothing and usually perpetuated (fanning the flames) to get people the most riled up they can be. The Zelda remake discussions are far closer to discourse. 29216
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Oh it 1000% is. They wanted to tell shareholders that big games are coming to make sure they dont get scared investing. It sucks that is how the industry is run and irresponsible for all parties to put forward something that was literally a thought and nothing more. 060
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026This is why I HATE know about games when they are in early development. Tell me about stuff when you are maximum a year out from release. I can not get hard or passionate about a title anymore. 2401
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026It's hard to be made about something that was only "I'm thinking about maybe making a game, and it may or may not be on a Playstation console. Here is my trailer announcing this thought." we got that over 2 years ago and apparently its not progressed much farther than that. 1320
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Not even close. Gang of Dragons had a trailer. It had gameplay to show. It clearly had character models made. Physint was just in the "I'm thinking about it" phase. 110
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Its super easy to throw stones at Sony for canceling Physint (they fucking suck ass), but I gotta be honest, if I agreed to fund a project from a well known auteur to make a console seller, only for them to still be in the "conceptual stage" almost 3 years later, I'd probably be pissed about it too. 66915
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 10/09/2026I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, the Kirkiversary. 1597
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I know people are going to immediately start throwing AI accusations at Nintendo because of how it looks, but I dont think thats it. I think its been so aggressively cleaned and polished that it's lost any idea of a creative vision, to the point it looks machine made. 1725751
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 07/09/2026When your scene kid teenager wants to show you the weird new movie they're into (The Crow), so you just gotta grin and bear it. 2805
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 07/09/2026If I wasn't already sold on Creggar's RE movie, this would have cinched it. 1362
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 01/09/2026A lot of the time its just taking a break from it and doing something else. I'm terrible with writers block, but I feel if I work on something else and then come back with fresh eyes, it helps a lot. 010
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 30/08/2026It's rare to say something was emotionally exhausting but in a positive way but thats how it felt being at All In again. Getting to scream my head off and get hype with friends while we watch some of the best wrestling you could ask for, I couldn't ask for me. 1181
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Finally in a country that speaks the Queen's English. None of this French non-sense I've had to put up with lately. 1290
Reposted by FoxcadeSuperRAD 🍋 @superrad.bsky.social · 08/08/2026NEW VIDEO: Fallout 2 is a beloved entry in the series, but rushed development, crunch, a loss of leadership, (and talking Deathclaws), have caused some to see it as inferior to the original. Today I dive into this sequel to see what it's all about! youtu.be/hZZsLfW9X_Uyoutu.beThe BIG Fallout 2 RetrospectiveYouTube video by SuperRAD 36535
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I'm sorry but I have to say, if you are planning on buying GTA6, especially day 1, I actually think less of you. Between the removing features for pricier versions, removing physical but costing more, and now needing a subscription service to see a trailer, this is a company that hates you. 37989440
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I dunno, something about that movie I find enthralling. You can throw that on, and I'll watch it all again like nothing. It's just a bunch of top-class actors turning in great performances, telling a real piece of history in a huge way that keeps you invested. It's just real good piece of film. 121
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I get chills every time I hit that scene at the end when Batman finally realizes he has to be more than a symbol of vengeance. He can be a symbol for those in need. IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD! This is the edgiest Batman film, but it somehow has the kindest character arc for Bruce that so many miss. 0374
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Rewatched The Batman, and I think it's firmly cemented itself as my favourite Batman film, so I had to have The Dark Knight trade places with it in my top 4. 6341
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Also I know people wanted to see Savage Hulk but why was it here? Like did Bruce suddenly lose control of his Hulk form? His entire arc in the Infinity saga of MCU was learning to accept the Hulk and gain control of that side of him. Now he suddenly cant because we need a fight scene for Spider-man? 1170
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026It really feels like Bruce's role in Brand New Day was supposed to be Curt Connors (The Lizard), but couldn't get it to work, so they shoved Banner into that spot in the script and had to contrive a bunch of character motivations that don't fit with where he was the last time we saw him. 1150
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026And then we throw AAAAALLLLL that development out the window for Brand New Day, where Bruce is now back to being scared of becoming the Hulk. He talks about him being a big rage monster and even rigs a device to keep his powers in check, which feels like it walks back all the previous movies. 1100
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026I don't hate Smart Hulk, I think its a good approach to the character, but it feels like we have to imagine so much of Bruce's developments between movies because MCU has no idea how to write a concentrated Hulk story, and they just make up developments for us to go along with. 1130
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026But we basically skip that entire journey (also a deleted scene in Infinity War), so in Endgame, we just have Smart Hulk, and Bruce just explains to the audience how he reconciled his two forms to become one. 1130
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Except NOPE, because in Infinity War, Hulk is now too scared to come out after losing one MMA match to Thanos, so Bruce can't transform the entire movie. His character arc seems to be about getting the two identities to form a union rather than fight against each other. 1120
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026By the end of Thor Ragnarok, it feels like its going in the direction that Bruce has more or less gained some sort of control of the Hulk, and can keep that form without being a "rage monster" 1100
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026This is where you can really feel each film writer/director writing Hulk however they want. It's not that inconsistent yet but it does feel we are straining to keep to a consistent character arc over the series. 1140
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Jump to Thor Ragnarok: Somehow Hulk is able to fly the jet into space and end up on a war planet where he can just Hulk out all the time and fight. He has full sentience as the Hulk and is basically just chilling there until Thor shows up. 1130
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026But then at the end of the film, Hulk develops enough presense of mind to fly off in the Aven-Jet to self isolate so he can't hurt anyone else. Kinda feels like an arbitrary decision based on where the film was going but sure. Bruce is scared of the Hulk still and its manifesting in the Hulks action 1120
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Avengers Age of Ultron: We pull out this random plot point that Black Widow has charisma to make Hulk de-Hulk by calming him down through some sort of training they established between movies? Sure, I can go along with this. 1150
Foxcade @foxcade.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Incredible Hulk/Avengers: Classic Jekyll and Hyde dynamic where Bruce is scared of the damage he will cause when he Hulks out. I can follow along with this. 1150
