my second favorite city councilor is under fire by the cops because his tweets 6 years ago were too good. so i made a meme about it. once again this man’s haters are doing his campaign for him. @drmitchpdx.bsky.social

most people rejected his message… (screencap of a mitch green tweet in the place of jesus) “you have a moral obligation to beat the piss out of anyone wearing nazi masks anytime you see it happen.” the crowd of haters all go “shut up!” they hated jesus because he told them the truth.

CW: local needs and offerings Neighbors are welcome to help us in their own time and capacity, as we don’t have office hours.

OPEN BED TRUCK. There is a source in Canby that has perpetually available mushroom blocks. You can take as many as you like and we’ll distribute the rest once in our garden.

KITCHEN SCRAPS. If you need a place to put your compost, we have established a compost bin in the NE corner of the garden. Please: egg shells, coffee, chopped up food scraps. No thanks: yard scraps, grass clippings, carnivore droppings, animal remains.

BLACK RASPBERRY STARTS. Native to the east coast, these berries are plentiful and easy to grow. We have 5 pots currently fostering in the garden, free to take.

TOMATOES TO HARVEST. The season has just begun, but we will need all the help we can get eating tomatoes.

I kept seeing this "Ten Commandments" format, and I'd never heard of the original "Ten Commandments for Danes". I could hold an entire lecture on the deep, detrimental differences between these two lists...

1. You must not work in Germany or Norway.
2. You shall do a bad job for the Germans.
3. You shall work slowly for the Germans.
4. You shall destroy important machines and tools.
5. You shall destroy everything that may be of benefit to the Germans.
6. You shall delay all transport.
7. You shall boycott German and Italian films and papers.
8. You must not shop at Nazi's stores.
9. You shall treat traitors for what they are worth.
10. You shall protect anyone chased by the Germans.
Join in the struggle for the freedom of Denmark!

You shall
1. Defy tyranny through acts of nonviolent defiance each day.
2. Protect education.
3. Slow down, obstruct, and destroy the machine of fascism.
4. Safeguard free speech, independent media, and protect journalists.
5. Defend free and fair election.
6. Take to the streets.
7. Demand courage from leaders.
8. Support and organize unions.
9. Create subversive art and random acts of joy.
10. Protect anyone targeted by this administration.
