Ducks are dry and wet nasty, they’re cute little hell animals, zero out of ten on the keeping scale except for how cute they are. If you enjoy cleaning and stinky stuff they’re great cos them being cute is like 1% of the deal.

Would you believe I almost broke my hand while doin this project? For a solid minute I thought “oh man, did I just ruin the holiday rush at work?” I also almost smashed my tarantula cages multiple times. I should not be left alone at home with a DIY itch but here we are 😂

Crash out warning 😂 TLDR; kitchen is an add on, they just cut the wall off the side of the existing house and built a rectangle. Said wall was LOAD BEARING and the years have not been kind, the sag is close to 2”, so I had to hammer a support beam in to hammer the wall frame in 🙃

I 100% overdid it on the studs, I wanted to make it match the existing wall without realizing that the existing wall isn’t the same size on both sides! I’ve learned lots of annoying things about my house in the last 48hrs

And on the other side you make it shelving for the storage aesthetic 🥰 not done yet, not looking forward to putting the drywall over the studs and doing all the mudding and tape but hey I think this is a pretty neat progression for my DIY skills

I had a dr appointment today so I treated myself to a pokemon plush (they didn’t have any cards, no surprise) and when I got home Lexi was confused why I put “her” toy on the shelf 😂😂😂 she was staring at it quietly for a few minutes before I realized what she was doing!

Oh yeah the 100mg is like a multi day situation 😂 they have little lines on the side to measure out 10mg at a time. As long as I drink it slow it works really well, but if you chug it definitely hits harder! It takes me about an hour to fully drink a Looner without getting too high

Edibles are hit or miss for me, but the THC drinks (especially Looner and Keef) are really good for my appetite and sleeping!!! My local dispensary has a bottle of lemonade with 100mg in it so it’s like one sip and I get hungry, instead of having to drink a whole can!!!

Cleaned the pigeon area today, still trying to figure out what to do about their boxes on the floor, I’m thinking puppy pads for now and try to find trays that fit in the bottom once the doors are on so I can put shavings in there without the shavings getting all up in the sand

Jacoby is so friendly and sweet even tho I don’t handle him super often. He will still climb into my hand and I can lift him without fuss and he eats from my hands and he actually comes when called which is so funny to me. He’s just god’s most precious little guy

Leopard geckos have been one of my favorite reptile since I was a little kid and that it took me 32 years and getting cancer to get one is a crime but he’s here now 😂 they’re really just the cats of the lizard world, they’re so perfect.

I can also make a little canopy for the top in summer, so it isn’t just blazing sun on the roof. I can paint it super cute, I can practice more with woodworking techniques like adding trim, it’s gonna be fun. Now if only fall stops being so rainy and I can get more energy 😂

I have plenty of insulation material so I can properly insulate it, meaning I can have her outside longer in lower temperatures. She may be a working livestock guardian dog but I am a weak pushover and keep her inside most of winter when predators aren’t as active.

I’m getting better at project zomboid. The immersion is definitely fun, this game would have had me in a chokehold in 2010, I would have been insufferable. It came out in 2013 and I was still into zombies but not as much, plus didn’t have a computer to play it.
