I think as you grow older and learn to forgive yourself, you come to realize that yes you could have physically have done the thing but mentally you just weren't there and that's okay. Take the time to consider mental, physical and even spiritual health.

Always fun to unearth past relationship trauma where I was so used to prioritizing other people over myself that I would forgo my happiness for others. Had a friend show me that I am still doing that and it doesn't hurt to be true to what I want. That being said, habits are hard to break.

Q: Anyone else find "closeness" in doing your own thing but in the same room? I've been thinking that I'm not the most cuddle friendly person and like doing my own thing. I find a closeness where I can be on my computer with my partner in the same room. That and I can look and smile during breaks.
