And their ideal form of this product isn't its quality, but that it will automate consumer spending???

So... the interview! Furries are creatures who serve escapist AND human narratives. An audience can connect to them without it bringing baggage that comes when depicting a human! Cute or cool, silly or serious. That dynamism helps folks see themselves in a medium that otherwise alienates them. :)

-and it wasn't just the Switch's fault. There were conscious design decisions to combat performance issues, but they caused the game to look worse. You can still see in the NS2 edition screen at the lake, the player's not centered on camera. The camera gave me motion sickness and was never fixed :/

Anyone remember Kamiko? Back when the original Switch launched, there were only a few first party titles available. Gaming media would do weekly "what to play on the eShop?" videos. Kamiko was one of the first Zelda-likes on the eShop and it was only $5! It lived in top 30 for a really long time.

i do think the models in pokemon SV are really close to matching the gen 1 style, though!

slowbro's model from pokemon sv. the slowpoke body shape has a silly posture and curious eyes. the shell on its tail has an intense, angry expression.

parasect's model from pokemon sv. its eyes are white spheres with no iris. the legs are angular and creepy. there are little black lines on the edges of the large mushroom on its back, referencing the gen 1 manga and key art style.

charizard's model from pokemon sv. the sculpting of its face conveys layers of depth - the brow-like structure, the pointed horns on the head, the indented nose. the wings are bony and angular, with a thinner bone-like pattern going through the wing itself. the wings resemble bat wings irl.
