There's a balance between seeing your work as perfectly viable and between constantly seeing room for improvement that has to be struck, being on either side of that meter makes you stagnate or get miserable. But it's got just that exact area in the middle that you always see improvement real-time.

I think that mentality comes from a desire to be creatively "successful" rather than self-improving, or as an escapism serving the idea that you can avoid a job via toys regardless of viability - Perfectionism does ruin that for sure, but mainly... It risks *stopping* improvement is the problem

People assume natural talent is involved when they see someone do something better and faster than their peers, but in reality it's usually just being able to enjoy putting something together is a much, much bigger factor, or that they've already been interested in it long before starting

It's something that's hard for a lot of people to see because they don't actually enjoy the *process* of drawing. I also specifically enjoy the act of drawing and not just making the product, and that's also meant I get a lot of improvement rapidly - but, most people don't have that sadly

You could also theoretically use a small amount of eyeliner to draw more attention to the head esp. in accentuating keeping facial hair (most people don't realize it can help a lot with masc looks if you keep it subtle and it can make a good structure against said hair's bordering)

If you wear something with a high color contrast near the top of it but flat-colored on the bottom it would probably work well with your styling for your head (or something with a flare/good folding and a lacy top piece worn over it to provide that same thing)

And you can't really just have someone else "do what you say" either. The difficulty has fundamental knowledge gaps and near-impossible design problems that can't be solved alone. But finding others who can help design but also understand the intention you have under the hood is a fool's errand.

Having tried two out of three of these myself and many more, the hardest part really is just pulling yourself from the floor to Have It. It's like you've got ten times the gravity and the bars you try to brace yourself on easily snap. It's why these are so easy to mod, but so impossible to *make*.

I've had this character for around a year, but never officially posted her to the public - I've been pressed to do so. Meet Py-Rite. I wanted a more diagetically built robot-maid with a source in the adult entertainment business. She was collaborated with a dear friend of mine that wants her around.

Py-Rite - Ex-human robotic adult entertainer, now, an independent catgirl maid? - Her original calling centered on a life of transhumanist prostitution and digital pornograpy, which she did enjoy. However, after a client dressed her as a maid and they cleaned together beforehand, she realized her new senses, well t rained attention to detail, and freshly installed patience made her quite enjoy the busywork of a cleaner. - The client let her keep the outfit, and it now is her primary career. - She does, however, not f--- any less than before. She is, though, pickier.
A side detail says she is a tad materialistic, still eats food (mostly fruits..), rewards generosity very "personally", femboy enjoyer, serial kisser, bed breaker, and says "hai".

The words for this are a bit more than I can fit in one message, but this is generally how that happened

There's a few factors that allow it to thrive despite everything;

Namely, that it doesn't compete gameplay-wise with its obvious comparison (most "pokemon competitors" also try to be turn-based RPGs, and so people go "why wouldn't I just play pokemon then?" and ignore it)

Then, that the gameplay it rips is both heavily desired (realistic-ish open-world survival-craft will sell like hotcakes even when it's complete garbage) and its direct competition it rips is extremely low quality (ark being notoriously bloated and difficult to get running on anything, and survival-craft games being very rare to have actually come out not looking like shovelware relative to how many are made)

Being an ark clone with a cuter aesthetic that both runs and plays on more devices more cleanly with modern amenities, means it just becomes the superior option to a mass market, no matter what the company did to get there
