Back on the road after 2 long months recovering from knee surgery. So grateful for the views, the adventure and the gas stations I sleep at. The road feels like home and im so excited to see where I go next!

They are still essential heroes in my eyes. Thank you to our healthcare workers!

Screenshot of a tweet from the user “MC Squared (@mcsquared34)” on X.com. The tweet says: “Pretty wild watching health workers going from ‘essential’ and ‘heroes’ in 2020 to ‘unprofessional’ in 2025.”

And yet Joe Rogan puts guests on who say "Vaccines aren't actually responsible for the reduction in infectious diseases.”

The image is a heatmap titled "Measles," showing measles cases across U.S. states from 1928 to 2003. States listed on the y-axis include Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The x-axis spans years from 1928 to 2003. A vertical line marks the introduction of the measles vaccine around 1963. The color scale at the bottom ranges from blue (0 cases) to red (4,000+ cases), with shades of green, yellow, and orange indicating intermediate values (1,000, 2,000, 3,000 cases). Before 1963, many states show frequent high case numbers (yellow to red), while after 1963, cases drop significantly, with mostly blue indicating near-zero cases.

I am so tired of the negativity in my day-to-day life, so I went hiking. Here are some of my favorite photos. It was a much needed break from all the judgment and hate speak that I'm sure surrounds a lot of us.

Lightly cloud covered sky over a snow dusted mountain tops with a bright green pine forrest at the base.

Almost golden piece of bark from a tree with a blobbish pattern on the back. Behind the bark is a blue sky, green trees, and a crunchy brown floor covered in line needles.

Neon green Lichen covered dead tree broken at the top. Behind the tree is a blue sky with scattered clouds above a pine forrest with a snow-covered ground.

Bright white Mycelium colonizing a charred piece of log with some fresh green spring grass growing between the log and some brown leaves.

One of my favorite days so far. Laying in my truck with a dog my coworker found on the side of a highway and it's raining. We are cuddling for warmth, and I love it. #dog #rain #happy

I haven't been taking photos of my food lately, and that makes me sad. But I want to start so to get started here are some of my favorites from the recent past. #food #delicious #favorite

Seared steak with roasted potatoes, glazed carrots topped with Parsley, and pickled red onion. Plated on a white plate with a redwing reduction on a metal stainless steel table. Behind the plate are stainless steel holders with salt, pepper, and fried basil.

Oyster on crushed ice with herbed creme fraise. Topped with pineapple, pickled peppers, lemon zest, and a fennel frond.

Seared golden halibut plated next to fried polenta topped with butternut squash puree, charred peas, and microgreens. Served with a creamy corn and mushroom whitening sauce topped with burnt leak oil. All on a black plate on a stainless steel counter.

Poulet Sauté aux Ducs de Bourgogne (Chicken quarters cooked in butter with a simple but delicious cream sauce) served on rich mashed potatoes with glazed carrots. On a white plate, on a wooden cutting board with a glass of sherry.

Such a vibrant red on a gray and gloomy day.
